I've got Tommy winning on cuts also. Vito s chin takes the best shots but his skin is another story imo.

Hearns was good, and he could stop him on cuts, but I have to go with Antuofermo TKO 5.

It does get a bit overblown. Antuofermo had 59 fights and was stopped on cuts in maybe 4 or 5, and they were mainly near the end of his career.

But Hearns on points as I don't think Vito has the guns to blast him out like Hagler or Barkey did.

Ig I did blow the cuts up a bit too much. You are right, though i still think it's always a possibility for Vito. I have adjusted my opinion to Vito by decision. Vito would try as much as possible to turn the thing into a firefight. Hearns would tie him up a lot, but fierce exchanges would become inevitable. Vito UD. I think he could gradually wear Hearns down.

I would go with Vito. Cuts are possibility though. I think Vito gets stronger as fights go on as with first fight with Hagler. Tommy gets weaker as fight goes on as with Leanord. Vito would maul him on the inside and maybe even KO Tommy

Yes! I'm sure he did a lot, he had great stamina. Hagler just came to mind. Maybe tommy has as well, but my recollection of him is he fades as fight goes on.

He didnt win a round in the 2nd Minter fight, only lasting 8.
Antuofermo's cut tendency was so bad he had some bone shaved off his prominent brows to alleviate the problem, but he was cut in other places too.Stopped 5 times, only one a count out against Hope ,and in that he was bleeding badly at the end.
What are his best wins at middleweight?
A split decision against an average Corro and wins over past their sell by dates.Griffith and Briscoe.
A very good light middle ,and decent middle.

You got that one right. Two of Monzon's best wins. Vito > Griffith and Briscoe.

Hearns UD. Antuofermo shows grit going the distance.

I didn;t think it necessary to add that Monzon beat Griffith when he was the number1 ranked contender and Antuofermo beat a 36 years old Griffith
Nor that Briscoe was 29 when Monzon beat him , and 35 when Antuofermo
did.Or that an older,[a month off 35,] Monzon twice beat Valdes who ko'd Briscoe.
But apparently MR Stupid needs reminding of these facts.
