I find this statement to be very interesting as most people think Floyd's best chance at victory is to box.

    What do you ****ers think?

I think he can win both ways, but boxing on the backfoot, moving potshotting is his best move imo, it will be very difficult for pac then.
If he fights him like he did Ortiz pacs chances increase, doesnt mean floyd cant win then but I like it much more for pacquiao and boxing overall.

    Floyd can beat Pac

Floyd goes to hospital, thus missing Pac's post fight concert.

Wallace is saying Pacquiao may be too busy for a pot shoting Mayweather....resulting on a point loss.

This is far from being ridiculous.

If Mayweather stays in the pocket and throws hard counters (like in his last 2 fights) he might knock a careless Pacquiao out.

However Floyd figures it, he knows infinitely more how to do it than Vivek.

    And I typically like Vivek.

I dont see a problem either way. The reason Vivek said that is because Mayweather is a great counterpuncher and is very accurate. If he bangs he will land more then Pac and might KO him. Thats why hes saying that. Pacquiao throws alot of flurries but doesnt land much, which will leave him wide open for massive counters

Over simplification. I think Floyd could lose a decision being too defensive and letting Pac come after him. One judge actually gave the De La Hoya fight to Oscar. i could see judges wanking over flurries most that dont land ala Calzaghe Hopkins.

i actually think Floyds best chance is to back Pac up and walk him down. Morales had Pac's number when he started to back him up

See... I do see Vivek's point to an extent.. He can't be the old floyd who is TOO sparing with his offense b/c PAC will completely overwhelm him and most likely get a workman like UD.

Floyd can't go toe to toe with PAC b/c he doesn't have style to knuckle up with PAC because he can't match fire power.

Floyd has to have a balanced formula if he ever decides to fight PAC. He'll have to box and stay on his "P's and Q's" but has to be MORE aggressive than we are use to seeing in order to have a shot at maintaining control of distance.

We all know Floyd won't be controling the tempo or pace of the action in their fight so his only hope is to keep up with PAC and do enough to keep PAC in his ideal range while he can work off the jab and counter effectively while staying out of Manny's ideal range.

So either way you look at this....Floyd has got his hands full. Which is why this fight is still not made. Floyd knows PAC is all wrong for him and I honestly believe it causes him to lash out the way that he has over the last 2 yrs +.

I like the style Floyd showed in his fight with Ortiz.....if he ALWAYS fought like that he'd have a lot more respect and a lot more fans and he still could possibly be undefeated. But Floyd only fights that way against guys he knows he can beat....Look at those other fights where Floyd took risk, laid it out on the line and looked to put on a show. Gatti, Mitchell, N'dou, Sosa....Now Ortiz. All those guys were on the same level.

Box him...Floyd is more skilled and has the reach advantage by far...He knows how to fight tall too..Oscar and Shane did not..neither did Tony or Miguel...

Floyd will be at more risk if he chooses to bang with him..he can keep him off with his jab and right hand and counter from their..this puts all the pressure on Manny.

Floyd would most likely knock out the Manny that fought Shane and Clottey...The Floyd that fought JMM-up through Ortiz beats Pac..

Styles make fights and Manny does not do as good against guys who move..FLOYD WILL BE FIGHTING TALL AND OFF HIS BACK FOOT FOR THE MOST PART..NOT OFF HIS FRONT LIKE WE SAW WITH JMM, MOSLEY, AND ORTIZ.
