Vivek Wallace : Floyd's Best Chance Against Pac is to Bang, NOT Box

I've heard that from Floyd a lot....but I also hear from PAC that he's agreed to ALL of Floyd demands. All of Floyd's actions in his claims that he was attempting to make the fight absolutely hold no validity. His accusations, demands and excuses all point to him NOT wanting the fight Manny.

 

Pacquiao cant bang with Floyd. Floyd can beat Pacquiao either way.

 

Floyd wouldn't be dumb enough to play into Pac's strengths.

Easily see Pac KOing Floyd if they go toe to toe.

 

Floyd sitting and waiting for counters all night would be an easy night for Pac.. Floyd goes in defensive mode and lets his offense lie dormant while waiting to potshot.. Pac never tires, or slows down. He must respect your power and combination punching for him not to just bulldoze right through you every second of every round, and even then his footspeed and ring smarts at this stage will keep him out of harms way.. Floyds gotta bang, and land precisely.. He needs to beat Pac every time to the punch, begin and end the exchange..

 

Pacquiao cant beat Floyd going toe to toe. Pacquiao dare not go toe to toe with Floyd. Pacquiao will give angles and jump in trying to use his speed.

 

The Pacquiao you saw fight Cotto and Margarito didn't have to worry about serious incoming. The Floyd that you think turns defensive against Pacquiao is a non existent fighter you're talking about. Floyd is going to knock Pacquiao OUT if they fight.

 

Another thing PAc bust up too easily. He swells up alot in fights and he would get touched up against PBF and you need to be able to see against PBF.

 

Trust me. It will be a fatal mistake if Pacquiao brawls with Floyd.

 

Floyd will do BOTH.
He will make him miss,
then make him PAY.
He will do this over and over till the end.
Thats how he fights.
Thats how he beats Pac.

 

IMO, Floyd wins either way he chooses to fight. He's too skilled for Pac. I enjoy Vivek's columns but he is awful when it comes to predicting fights.

He thought Shane and Margarito were gonna upset Pac. I mean really?atsch

 

He swells up because he takes a lot of bombs, and that happens because he keeps attacking and leaves himself open for them. Margie nailed him repeatedly with epic uppercuts, but he he kept on attacking and even went toe-to-toe after getting hit bad. Put simply, he swells up because his chin won't let him out of a brawl.

 

Margarito couldn't do damage without plaster in his gloves.

 

I can't say for sure because Margie's never hit me, but a lot of the punches he connected with looked like bit hits. I'd say this even if they had been thrown by a different fighter. Go watch a few videos of the fight and you'll see what I mean.

I hope the Pac vs Marquez fight is a good one but they brought up Juan Manuel Marquez to 144 for a reason. That reason is to slow him down. Marquez is a good fighter at 130 because he is a good counter puncher with good uppercut. Marquez hasn't proven himself in the 140's and Top Stank knows this, when he fought Floyd he looked very sluggish not only that Marquez is now 38 years of age. Marquez is going to lose this fight, how bad remains to be seen.
