No way Vitali can win. People got too high of expecations from a guy who has been KO'd in his last few training camps. Too much credit goes to the guy who couldn't beat Lewis on the champ's worst night.

Vitali hasn't fought in so long, in his mid 30's coming off multiple knee operations and hasn't made it through a few training camps. No reason to believe he can beat any live body top 5 HW in a comeback fight.

I expect this to be a war for the first three rounds. Peter will probably win round 1, with Vitali taking round 2 and maybe 3. After that, Vitatli starts to systematically take Peter's face apart and the fight ends with a TKO in round 11. Peter will retire after this fight.

I am so tired of this topic but I absolutely agree with you. Unless Vitaly is shot, it is going to be a one-sided beating for many rounds.

VK will fight if he's "shot", unless he really needs the money.

If Klitschko comes in 100% like 2003/2004.
He might take out Peter. Peter still would have a change.

If Klitschko comes in fit but ring rusty.
Peter would TKO him. Vitali still could have some change of victory I suppose

If Klitschko is shot after 4 year lay off.
Vitali will not have any change.

I see Vit claiming back problems and quitting on his stool somewhere in the middle rounds when Peters sloppy pressure starts getting to him.

If Vitali was in his prime, this would be an easy fight for him. Peter is the kind of fighter than Vitali was extremely effective against: slow, short, dumb and lacking in defensive skill. Peter's biggest asset, his power, is useless against someone like Vitali who is good at dodging single shotsand has an iron chin that cannot be dented by single punches.

However, Klitschko is a lot older and has more rust than a North Korean steel mill. Add one or two problems for Vitali- his susceptibility to injuries which can have only got worse with age, the fact that he is a tall boxer that leans back from punches which I have a feeling will put him into the arc of Peter's Safari Punch (a looping rabbit punch) and his astonishing ability to avoid greatness- and Peter has a good chance. In fact, I think Peter is a slight favourite.

Two monstrously crude boxers, but also two very entertaining boxers who like slugfests. It should be one of the best heavyweight title fights of recent years.

How is this true? Sam is better than Corrie Sanders and Danny Williams and a fat Kirk Johnson any day of the week.

Fact: Vitlay has never beaten a fighter as good as Sam Peter in his prime.

Only chance Peter has is for Vitali to get injured during the fight. There is way too much of a skill and height difference for Peter to overcome.

And look what happened to that lot. And Peter is himself hardly Brad Pitt when it comes to the waist department.

And Peter has never beaten a fighter as good as Vitali in his prime. However, Vitali in his prime will NOT turn up against Peter, contrary to what Klit-huggers think. That is why Peter will probably win.

Vitali should win a late TKO or a UD, only way Peter wins this is if Vitali has grown old overnight.

Vitali is too rusty. I hope he doesn't win because I would like an undisputed champ. We won't get thet with both Klit bros. as Champions.

Peter won't land his rabbit safari punch. Vitlai fights much taller, and moves quicker / can fight and coutner backign up. Peter would really have to reach up there to land his foul shot.

I think Peter's defense is ok, but his work rate in the later rounds is lacking.

Also, Vitlai has been in a few camps. I think the rust will go away after the first 3 rounds. Its not like Vitlai has sparred since he retired in 2004.

Vitlai always said he retire when he thinks he can't win on the highest level. He thinks he can beat Peter. So do I.
