funny how Vitali gets **** for inactivity yet guys like Haye fight every 10-12+ months on average

vitali tried to make a fight with Haye... didnt happen... then had to wait a long time (fight was postponed once for arreola illness) to see who his mand was.... now he can deal with trying to make that fight......

BTW.."6 times a year"?.... 6 fights at 7 week camps each is 42 weeks out of 52 weeks in the year..... NO fighter on that level fights 6 times a year... common is 2-3 per year:deal

It's the WBC that is a disgrace. Vitali's mandatory fight should've been decided right after he fought Charr. Instead, it took over half a year for the Stiverne-Arreola elimination match to take place.

The sanctioning bodies are to blame.

 

I think it's clear that Vitali has no hunger for the fight anymore.

Rather, his aspirations have turned to politics.

Either way, I still want to see him fight Haye before he retires!

Vitali Klitschko said in an interview today for the Russsian website allboxing that he will soon be having a press conference making an announcement about his upcoming fight with Bermane Stiverne.

 

Lennox Lewis went over 2 years without defending his WBC title! Why the double standard. Vitali said he would fight Stiverne, and Vitali will knock Stiverne out!!!!!!! The haters claim that Haye stays busy?! How so? Haye broke an implied contract with Vitali, Vitali got tired of waiting. Haye had his chance. Haye also broke a signed contract with Vlad. All the haters said that Haye would have an easy knockout, but Haye ran like a coward!!!!!!! The video of that fight shows it!!!!!!! Haye ran, held, fell down on the canvas over and over again, held on to Vlad's legs, etc. Haye's chin is not good, he got knocked out by a cruiserweight................

 

I think that after Vitali knocks out Stiverne, he should go ahead and knock Wilder out, Mitchell and Jennings, none of those boxers have a chance against Vitali. Nobody complained when Lewis refused to defend the WBC title for over 2 years, but there is a double standard...........

After he first became the WBC Champion Lennox defended his title in May and October 1993 and in May 1994 before losing it to McCall in September 1994. After regained the title by beating McCall in February 1997 he defended it in July and October 1997, March and September 1998, had two unification fights with Holyfield in March and November 1999, defended his titles in April, July and November 2000 before losing them to Rahman in April 2001. He regained his titles in November 2001 then defended it against Tyson in June 2002 and against Vitali in June 2003 before retiring in February 2004.

The longest period of time Lennox Lewis ever had between defences of his Title was the year and few days between the Tyson and Vitali fights.
