You think Wlad could take the Lewis uppercuts that Vitali did?

Nah he would get KO'd but Lewis is a legit superheavy, that said i doubt Wlad would have that fight that close and he has plenty of power to make Lewis very cautious himself.

I highly doubt some of the smaller ATGs that would be light heavy nowadays would have any chance.

I would say Wlad KO's Marciano, lasts longer against Louis and beats Frazier and Liston. other than that, spot on.

Wlad would be able to finish Lewis, something Vitali couldn't.

Wlad hits much harder than Vitali.

Could go both ways Lewis vs Wlad.

Where fighters cannot be matched up, such as when from different eras, it comes down to assessment and opinion. You may well be overrating Wlad. Have you considered that possibility?

Yes i have but im usually pretty good at seeing how styles mesh.
Its not like i think Wlad is the goat and i can think of a good few that should or could beat him.

That said in the classic fighters tend to get more amazing by every decade that goes by till they are elevated to some superhuman proportions.

Also modern fighters that fight in a style people don't like right away are given no shot vs some of the old greats.

I will take the opinion of a true expert like Steward on how good Wlad really is over any forum warrior.
Its not like he was so biased to lose his objectivity, he was full of praise of fighters that beat his fighters as well.

Would probably KO Marciano, Tyson KOs Wlad, Foreman does it in about half the time and I like Wlad over Holmes. He'd win the battle of the jabs, making Holmes pick his spots and also stop throwing the straight right as much

RING magazine aren't forum warriors. Nor are many of the other boxing writers who differ to your opinion regarding Wlad's standing in boxing history.

But as I said in my previous post, it's about assessment and personal opinion when fighters can't be matched :good

I definatley wouldn't have him beating Liston? Liston great chin power and long reach, better jab too.

I think Wlad would stop Marciano. Foreman by KO in 3.
I like Lewis by KO earlier. The Tyson win by decision is
interesting I used to favor Tyson By KO but I can see Mike
getting tied up on the inside yet still winning a decision.
Honestly I like Mike KO 2 Wlad, the left hook destroys Wlad.
It was a cool article. Anyone think Wlad can stop Frazier?

    Concrete feet and slow delivery.

And I think WK's jab is more versatile and better.

Agree with the last two as winners, and on the fence regarding Holmes and Ali. Think he stops or decisions all the others, Foreman fight has the potential to go either way. Louis, Marciano and Frazier stand very little chance stylistically. Dempsey stands no chance at all, especially under modern rules.

    Happy New Year everyone.

Sonny had a longer and harder jab, best in heavyweight division. And one of those long left hooks to snap Wads glass chin right off into the 3rd row
