Haye vs. Valuev was in Germany.

Wlad has not a strong promoter so the scorecards are always okay.

Plus, he usually stops his opponents. And rarely gets hit. It would be very hard not to score fights for him.

That's all true. :thumbsup Wladimir was working the body very well & mixing hooks & uppercuts in with his straight rights. I seem to remember a very high guard that Tony had & Wlad probably went to the body to bring those hands down.

See? That's what I meant, like Thompson was holding his brain in so it wouldn't come out of his ear!

He's still looked better against Wlad than anyone since Peter.

I believe I had him winning 3 rounds. Which is pretty awesome all things considered.

It sounds kind of funny when people are saying someone did well because they won 1 round against Wladimir.

Brock also had some early success against Wlad.

I agree. I was thinking why the **** isn't Thomson doing anything?

His trainer was saying the same things to him.

after the first 3 or 4 rounds, Thomson was doing NOTHING. Walking out, putting his earmuffs on, and standing there.

Wlad should have looked good. He was essentially fighting a human punching bag after a few rounds.

I was thinking about that lately- most fighters lose more rounds in 1 fight than Wlad's lost in like 3 years.
