When he's done, if he doesn't lose some big upsets, he'll rank between 12 and 8. Without a career defining win or an ATG on his resume I wouldn't rank him higher. But make no mistake, he's an ATG.

In my top 20. Has the physical advantages over just about any other heavyweight champion in history, and has a great offensive arsenal. Just hard to let him in my top 10 with those 3 big KO losses, and a weak chin and questionable stamina. A safety first fighter who seems scared of mixing it up anymore. Losing to a Puritty...just stands out big. I think Patterson may be the only other heavyweight champion who has been knockdown more then Wlad. But with all his title defenses and his physical advantages, he will be on some top 10 lists. You can count on it. Arguably the best 'big' heavyweight ever.

Vlads a great great dominant champion but the world public has never embraced him like some former champs . Hes a great role model - never in trouble , gives plenty to charity , aint a wife beater , does'nt wear tons of bling , polite to opponents and fans , highly educated and modest but theres something about him that the world public just has'nt embraced . Here in Australia [ one of the most sports crazy countries in the world] the average sports follower does'nt even know who Vlad the world heavyweight champion is - but does know Floyd and Pac instantly. Going back to the Ali , Frazier and the Tyson big fight days these fighters were front page news and their fights screened live on free tv not like Vlad jammed away with a small column in the back pages of the sports section. Face it , its not his fault but he just has'nt got a personality that world sports fans associate with a dominate heavyweight world champion . Just an opinion.
