Yeah, it was eleven years ago last Friday that he got tossed into the compactor with a 7-0 (7) young hungry GGG. You wouldn't blame him for running from the ring and never looking back after that harrowing experience ...and yet here we are, he's still a willing, road-wizened underdog, and has only been stopped once more since then.

Round 1

Saruhanân is circling very rapidly clockwise, inner heels clicking together as he glides in a freewheeling manner, feet barely touching canvas for more than a fleeting moment. Quick flurries by Saruhanân, fed in below the elbows and over the knuckle tips before Toxirov can whirl to square up & face him. Toxirov is sticking a hard jab, but unable to place it on the perennially moving target. Toxirov is slamming on the brakes and pitching himself forward to launch a hook-cross-hook combo in uninterrupted succession before circling out again. Toxirov misses a right and grabs Saruhanân into a rough shaking clinch.
