Jaun Carlos Gomez is missing so Vladimir Virchis might have to fight someone like Rahman or McCall to get a shot at the title.:bbb

Is it me or does it seem like Gomez has a self destruct button that he has to press at least once a year to keep shitting up his career?

Probably one of the top two best ever cruiserweights, moves up to heavy and since he has he has done very little yet he is a very talented fighter!

    amazing!

I wanted to see this match. Ok, maybe Virchis can fight someone else. Who else is out there that can take the fight?

It will probably be an undeserving #3 rated - Hasim Rahman whom Virchis will brutally Ko.

Hopefully, he took the other fat ****, Solis, with him.

Maybe the two went to a fat farm.

Common. Give Solis a chance. Maybe he will reconsider his physical shape once he is set to fight vs. top competition.

Oh this is funny. Now Gomez is pulling a Bell. Seriously between the drug use, lacadasical (sp) approach to boxing, and his overall attitude it doesn't surprise me that he would do this. Also until Solis proves otherwise I think that his current shape and similar attitude as Gomez's is cause for concern, which is why I am not ready to back that horse yet.

Have you ever seen it happen before? I mean, I have seen guys get in shape for one fight, but I have never seen a career trend towards obesity reverersed.

Danny Willimas, Kirk Johnson, David Bey, Tim Witherspoon, Toney Tubbs, Greg Page, Buster Mathis, David Tua, Sampson Pa'hua, etc.

I cannot name one heavy that has ever put a permanent stop to weight problems. If Solis is already having them, he ain't going anywhere.
