he got hit with some hooks bt Peter in the 1st round. the old wlad would of been stumbling all over the place. but, a hayemaker from haye, forgetaboutit :scaredas:

his condition has improved so his chin will hold up a little better.

and his style stops most testing it.

but Haye does have the speed and power to put wlad out cold.

 

Wlads chin will be the same chin he had back in the days of fighting guys like Sanders n Brewster and that journeyman fella that stopped him...its just hes learned to defend his china better these days.

Apart from guys that are weight drained (ie not heavyweights)...i dont think your chin gets better or worse - it is what it is. Guys can learn to be better defensively and maybe not be as aggressive and recklass like maybe Wlad used to be.

I reckon Wlads chin wont be as bad as many haters like to think it is. Yeah he's not got a granite chin, but the guys that have stopped him or dropped him were usually bangers! And ANYONE can be KO'd (either thru accumilation or by taking a bomb on the button) - dont believe any different...and often you can take a shot harder than one that KO's you - if you see it coming and can be ready for the impact. Lewis was accused lots of times of having a glass chin also...but just look at some of the shots he did take in his career!! No way was that china/glass.

 

No one actually managed to do that. Guys with solid power stopped him only when he gassed out. Bar Sanders of course. Still he was able to get up every time to receive more pounding.

 

Agree on all three points.

Given the variables with both fighters, its gonna be one highly anticipated fight, no question about it.

 

His chin ain't bad ..if it was Manny would have never waisted his time with him..I think haye will get a couple of shots in and it will show he has a good chin.
