IF that is what Floyd said...that that says a lot about his confidence. You guys can **** over some irrelevant ****, but on topic, IF that's what floyd did indeed say, he's not as confident in his ability as he lets on.
Just glad somebody else got a chance to see it. And back to the topic...I think Hatton has a damn good shot if he keeps up his good work...He's a beast in the making! Give me a sec...I'll link you to it!:good
Rudyard, stop now, you are making a complete and utter arse of yourself. **** it, carry on, give us a laugh
Good man.:yep I can hold my head up and say I didn't take the bait.(for long) Maybe my all time favourite thread.Sure it was an afternoon shot for me. Oh how I laughed.:rofl

Everyone on ESB was crucifying Floyd for someone mentioning that fight. Floyd said in that interview he doesn't fight for legacy, he fights for money. Matthew Hatton fight wouldn't have brought in the kind of money he wanted, simple as. Nothing to do with not having confidence or thinking he'd lose. Yes, link to it, will bookmark it later for a good laugh.
and yet.....no one proved me wrong, apart from a wiki page that anyone could have doctored. you can put all the laughing smilies you want but I know you're mad bro.
he admitted it here. He basically called Hatton under-rated and thought he would lose, and that it would damge his career. Also notice he said "bigger than me", meaning void likes to pick on blown up bantamweights such as Marquez.
This OP has a better level of intelligence and a far superior concept of humour than/to the average *******. That thread is a magnificent example of comedy gold. Glad to see it gettting the respect it so richly deserves.A fabulous exhibition of keeping cool under pressure.
You forgot the second part.. saying he fights for cash, period. Money does what Money does, what the **** do you think that means? Also, I covered the part you're talking about in my first post.. Him trying to explain how a loss to a very underrated fighter as a top rated fighter would effect his career, as well as giving kudos to a UK fighter to keep his fanbase.
:rofl:rofl :verysad Seriously I busted out immediately! Got stares from the entire office down here ****!
