    walker, believed he lost a close, debatable decision to Ruslan Chagaev and said, "I know I won that one.”

    after being badly shaken and beaten by the underated alex leapai, walker bounced back and beat kali meehan. walker now has a massive opportunity against Tomasz Adamek on September 8th.

    the pity is, its not leapai getting the chance. Tomasz Adamek is a former light heavy and cruiser champ, and beating him should ensure walker a shot at a heavyweight title.

    the irony is, if walker wins, (and wins his title shot) he may then give leapai a shot, and attempt to avenge his disputed early stoppage loss to alex.

    so all aussie fight fans should wish walker all the best. it may be our best chance of having an aussie get a fight for a world title.


    interesting to note that Adamek-Walker will be broadcast on WealthTV as was mundines last fight..

    Doesn't a little issue, like being ranked, make a title shot for Alex a little difficult?

    First up Walker ain't beating Tomaz anytime soon . Secondly you're ******ed if you want to see Alex in at world class level after the likes of King pin stopped him you might want to take a Decco @ Johnson v Klitchco to see the gulf in class .

    As Spider has pointed out to me many times (sometimes correct, other times not so much) I don't know **** about boxing, BUT

    Don't you have to have a certain rank to qualify a title shot? Top 15 or something?

    Walker is a bum. Adamek beats him 100 times out of 100 and Leapai is not underrated you clown.

    I think walker will beat ademak in a hard but decicive fight,if alex gets his remach with walker it will be a very big ask to do the job on him again,after all the stoppage in their fight wasn't very convincing.Great fight nun the less but a fight not a boxing match,I don't think walker will get caught up in that type of fight again,He'll keep alex at bay and win a decision.Heart will still back Leapai though!
