I'v said it a couple times on here before but if Adamek does hurt him i imagine it'll be from a right that Arreola doesn't see coming. Chris will go to throw with his elbows all cocked to the side and Adamek will beat him to the punch, coming straight down the pipe with that right.
Kind of like this? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHAU9fJGwS8[/ame] BTW. I still don't know how he wasn't hurt by Banks' punch at 37 seconds of that vid. That was a hellacious punch from a strong puncher. One funny thing I noticed about this video is that the Polish commentators used the exact same phrase to describe Banks after the KO. Like their Showtime counterparts they said "poor Jonathan Banks" to describe the situation. I guess some things speak for themselves. Will it be "poor Christobal?" on the 24th?
Adamek doesn't feel heavyweight power because he doesn't seem to get hit flush. Arreola will try and he will tire. Adamek will sting and sting til the end.
We shall see. I like Adamek as a fighter, but not sure how he would react to getting hit flush by a good puncher in Arreola.
He was Cruiser up until his last fight with Golota if I'm not mistaken. Not saying he can't hang with Arreola, just not sure if it's wise for him to go punch for punch Chris. Do you see your boy taking that chance?
He's a good puncher, and could put combinations together pretty well at times. He showed good power against McCline, who has proven he has a good chin by taking on the best punchers in the world and only being knocked out once. Which was against offensive minded Wlad back in 02.
Man -- I would love to attend an Adamek fight in person. During the Cunningham fight all those crazy pollacks had me on my feet chanting Gorel, Gorel, Gorel, in my own god damn living roombananamaniac:deal
I hear that Arreola is in good shape, based on that i have no doubt that Adamek gets KTFOD, Even if Chris came in at 255 i would have had this even money but now i like Chris big by Ko 6
Arreola by stoppage. Adamek is a warrior and I deeply respect him but his two HW opponents have been very carefully picked. Golota has power but he is as shot as RJJ is at this point and his chin has been grade A china for a very long time and his mental toughness is non-existent. Estrada actually landed at a good rate vs Adamek but he is the HW version of Malinaggi. Arreola has power, stamina (his physical appearance notwithstanding), good combnation punching , heart and chin. Arreola withstood everything Vitali had to to offer and he was not KOed, the plug was pulled and he probably could have gone the distance. It will be a slugfest but Adamek will not be able to hurt Arreola as much as Arreola will hurt him. Both guys have iron chins but I see Adamek's cracking first.
Watch his fight with Chazz Witherspoon who was not handpicked this was a crossroads for 2 upcoming prospects. Arreola weighed in at 239 for that fight, heard he will be even less than that against Adamek
