    Personally I think that today Hopkins even at his old age is still overall better than Marquez.

    i think its gonna be a close one

    btw Dan obviously hindsight is always 20/20 but thats why im closing the poll before they fight cause there nothing i hate more than people saying "obviously JMM was better, or obviously Hopkins was better" after the result.

    I think next to Floyd, JMM has the best all around techinque in the boxing world today, hopefully he wins his next fight with Manny Pac because he deserves to be mentioned as a top 3 p4p fighter.

    Hopkins 5 years ago was a better fighter, but today p4p I would say JMM.

    by fighter i mean someone who participates in the sport of boxing. I don't care what tactics he uses i am asking who is better

    Picked Marquez but in reality this pol should be taken after their their next fight. Then we can say with better certainty.....Im not altogether secure in my pick, did it based on the age question and who has more left...

    just do it on their past 3 or 4 fights. Doing it after their next fight is an easy cop out

    JMM's style of fighting is clean and textbook. Bernard uses dirty tactics mixed with good generalship to win. While both are effective with their own game, i believe JMM edges out BHOPS by fighting fairly.
