VOTE!! Bernard Hopkins or Juan Manuel Marquez??

Im changing then I go with Hopkins.

 

Well Hopkins' last opponent was p4p#3 Wright so unless JMM beats PacMan, I gotta go with Hopkins. But even if JMM wins - if there will be a decisive winner in the Hopkins-Calzaghe fight, I'll rank the winner higher in the p4p list.

 

Funny how both are probably gonna get beat up soon

 

JMM is a top 4 fighter, in my book; Hopkins makes Top 15...huge difference...

 

JMM is still the better overall fighter. But he is much younger.

JMM is only 34...while Bernard just turned 43.

Relative to their age, Bernard is lightyears ahead (which was the original question, I think...LOL). What will Marquez be like in 9 years?

in that case Hops is the more efficient "boxer".

BTW, those of you trying to suggest he doesnt run, hold and headbutt now are just blind. He's smart cause at his age he cant keep pace with the younger guys so he avoids real contact as much as possible and "shortens" the fight, it just makes for terribly borinh matches.

 

Yea but wasnt MAB top 10 p4p and on a winning streak? And I dont think he struggled with barrera at all. At times he dominated barrera.

 

they are both going down in the next couple of months,i think marquez is in for a worse beating than hopkins.

 

Id lean towards JMM.

 

Marquez isn't getting any younger either.
