Bute will get someone to fight in July but after....... It just so happens that Pascal's management team is now seriously looking forward to match him with Bute sooner than later. Yvon Michel, Pascal's promoter, talked about it not too long ago that it's a fight they really want to make cause it would be big.

I wonder if they'd be crazy enough to fight for both belts from each weight class, by both making the 168lbs limit at the weigh-in.....

They said that indeed but never take that for cash. After every Bute fight, Interbox says it will announce soon Bute's next opponent...and it takes an eternity.

Not necessarily their fault, it's not an easy task. Many things change. Allan Green changing his mind (a year ago), Stieglitz refusing to fight him, Brinkely cancelling his fight, lots of things change fast in the fantastic world of boxing.

Hey, Maxim, just be smart: if he fighrs home he`ll not lose to anyone, including the tourney exit-ers.My opinion. For me this is close enough.
Fighting Pascal, Dawson or even Johnson at more than 168 woul be a different story.

Taylor is in a break from boxing ...isn't he? And i bet he will not make a comeback in Romania. Probably Interbox will want that fight to happen in Montreal or USA.

imo it would be a bad move for bute to go up. why risk it when he's king of the hill at 168?

A catchweight would be ok. Bute would just not dehydrate and come at 183 at fightnight. He would give some pounds to Dawson or Dawson but that's not a major factor. He could continue at 168 after.
