[VOTE] Canelo vs Mayweather: WHO WINS???

Canelo is a big in his prime strong fighter. Not an old washed up small guy like Shane.

 

Trout moved alot. I dont see Floyd moving too much these days. I see Floyd getting hit easily especially on the ropes. And I also dont think Floyd can hurt Canelo. Dude comes in like at 175 plus.

 

Floyd doesnt need to move alot in order to make Canelo miss. He could stand in there and still make Canelo miss and counter him. Reason why Trout wasnt able to counter the misses of Canelo was due to him jumping backwards whenever Canelo would throw a punch.

 

I am going to go with Canelo Floyd hasnt fought any young Lions like this in ages and if an old cat like Cotto gives him work, I suggest the young Lion will be able to turn it on against Floyd...

 

Floyd can stand in the pocket against fighters who recklessly throws slow wide punches, Canelo throws well-timed sharp hard punches with the intent of knocking you out with every single blow. You must use your legs in order to beat him and i don't see anyone standing in the pocket with him and beating him at this point.

Crazy talk. I give Mayweather v. Canelo a 75% chance of happening. The Money will be right. The Canelo I saw last night has no chance of beating Mayweather. Freddie Roach may have found Pacquiao's next opponent because Manny coming off the Marquez KO would beat Canelo from last night. Canelo's feet are way too slow.

 

If Floyd can make Canelo fight at a catchweight of 150, Floyd wins easily. Pac fought Margarito at 150. Canelo is just too big otherwise. He's bigger (not taller) than Margarito. Canelo probably walks around 180, he was 172 after weeks of training. Floyd walks around mid 150s? Canelo should be fighting guys like Golovkin and Martinez; both would destroy Canelo.

It won't happen. Floyd gets paid whoever he fights, so he's not fighting a challenge.

Floyd potshots his way to an easy decision, FMJ-JMM like fight. He will make Canelo look very bad.

 

Floyd would win easily......these boxers have are missing the basics such as stamina, strategy, defense. Floyd's shoulder roll and elbow defense is the sickest most difficult defense to penetrate because of his movement along with it. He gives you no angles. Canelo waist so much energy with the few punches he throws every punch he throws takes a lot of his energy that's why he gets fatigued. He punches with one purpose KNOCKOUT. Floyd punches with a purpose to break you down mentally and physically. He would discourage canelo. Canelo would have a hard time landing punches on mayweather. He had a hard time landing on trout I thought until midway thru the fight. I also thought canelo was tired. What is the difference with these guy's training and floyd's training. Floyd paces himself much better and defends and punches with a more effective purpose. Floyd goes 30 months undefeated. There is no one out there to defeat him these guys are missing too much of the basics. A 36 yo boxer makes these young cubs look like amatuers.

 

Cañelo would brutally murder Floyd because of two obvious reasons. Cañelo is too big and Floyd doesn't have the lateral movement like he used to have to get away from the ginger. If Cotto was able to bust him up imagine what will the Cinnamon do? This is the biggest fight right now and I'm sure GBP is salivating over it but no way Floyd will accept it.
