ESPY's have posted the nominees for "Best Fighter Of The Year". The nominees are:

Ronda Rousey (11-0-0, 2 KOs, 9 Submissions): Best female and pound for pound fighter in the UFC female division. Undefeated with all of her fights ending in either KO or submission. No one has survived past the first round with her making her one of the most feared opponents in the UFC. She fought top opponent, Zingano, who people thought would be her toughest challenge. Yet, she shocked the world by ending the fight in a record 14 seconds through armbar submission.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.(48-0-0, 26 KOs): What do I have to say? Lol. Pound for pound best fighter in boxing. While he will most likely fight a bum in September, he fought his greatest rival, Manny Pacquiao, on May 2nd. He won a unanimous decision in a fight that broke every possible financial record, earning Mayweather and Pacquiao as numbers 1 & 2 on Forbes Highest Paid Athletes list.

Gennady Golovkin(33-0-0, 30 KOs): Golovkin is seen as most feared fighter in boxing, best middleweight, and top pound for pound. Golovkin is an undefeated monster with 33 wins and 30 knockouts with a 91% KO ratio- highest in boxing and in middleweight history. He's fought 4 opponents since last August in Geale, Rubio, Murray, and Monroe. He most recently fought Monroe Jr on May 15th who quit in the 6th round, giving Golovkin his 20th consecutive KO win.

Terrance Crawford(26-0-0, 18 KOs): Crawford fought once this 2015 year with a stunning KO victory over 25 year old, Thomas Dulorme, who Crawford knocked down three times before the ref waved off the fight in the sixth round.

Donald Cerrone(28-0-6, 5 KOs, 15 submissions): One of the top lightweights among MMA fighters with a record of 28-6. Last fight was against John Makdessi on May 23rd. Won TKO in rd 2 by a head kick. Is 3-0 in 2015 with 1 TKO and 2 unanimous.

Canelo is the biggest badass with a name.. Of course he's Mexican and Mexican's don't get a fairshake in popularity contests... Not that Mexicans care much for being loud and at the center of attention.

Kovalev should be on the poll, because he was the real fighter of the year.

I'd vote Roman Gonzalez or Guillermo Rigondeaux, but Golovkin's good too. Floyd hasn't lost but he doesn't look good anymore. Rousy is the only girl who can fight so her opposition has been worse than Klitschko or Golovkins reigns. Crawford's year was last year. He's doing alright, but not super this year. What can you say about Donald Cerrone except that he's lost six more times than everyone else on that list?

Fighter of the year could mean a number of things from best skills, best resume, to most fun to watch. This list sounds like it was put together for the purposes of showing who is the most popular, makes the most money, has the most name recognition, etc. It's click bate.

He's the undisputed King of the worst division in the Sport. It was so bad, he left it.
