This is the only Hatton fight i'll agree with your boring tag on, it was a pretty boring scrap aye.Still got the win against a very dangerous opponent though.

urango is a slow for 140; but he manages to land good body shots by the close of round 5. in 6, urango was hit below the belt by hatton but urango decline to use time to recouperate since he was controlling that fight.

what i mean is urango is not that fast but he manages to land some good shots to the body and he did hurt hatton

This whole farce of putting "top" fighters high in the rankings after they've stepped up a division is a complete and utter joke.

What is that based on? Do you just arbitrarily decide whether he's ranked 1, 2 or 3 based on absolutely nothing? It's completely disrespectful to the fighters in the division already.

  4. By exposed do you mean punched..... Yeh because that never happens in a boxing match :patsch

He still got thru and won the fight by a comfatable margin

Manny Pacquiao has to prove himself just like everybody else.

MP is always been hit cleanly and hurt..but very few was able to hurt hatton, and urango maybe the first guy to hurt him

  7. The last two (of course) and two more before that in the last couple years (he's been on various bills with Kirkland) .. they have both been fighting a relative hop, skip, and a jump away from me in California (I'm in Vegas). The earlier two weren't close. He has been the clear winner in the four that I've seen (though Cherry had some moments). Bradley is a real good fighter. I think Holt gets put away. But we shall see.

    Absolutely.

Fighters will get hit, no matter how elusive, it just depends on how they react to the shot. Even Whitaker was hit, the Roger Mayweather knockdown comes to mind, but he went on to win.

Eammon Magee knocked him down in their fight, and had him troubled at other points. Jon Thaxton hurt him, Tszyu obviously , Collazo nearly knocked him out. Thats off the top of my head.

PacMan never fought at LWW, so he should not be ranked at LWW. Kotelnik, Bradley, Holt, Urango, Torres and Maidana are the top guys at Ricky's division.

  13. Listen to you (and others). I don't think Pac is officially ranked by the WBC, WBA, IBF, or WBO at JWW. Is he? So why the dogma? You are picking who you think are top contenders in the division on a ****ing bulletin board. Like it or not, Pac is fighting JWW Champ Hatton (who is the division's big dog so to speak). Afterwards, he will either be the man (and ranked accordingly at the TOP - with all due respect to Bradley) or he might get stopped in which case his ranking won't be much of an issue for discussion (at least for a while). Picking/ranking Pac on an ESB board doesn't mean ****. LOL. So, why get carried away with what is "proper" or "acceptable"? Just because he's picked here as a contender in the division isn't gonna affect his ranking or non-ranking with any of the alphabets, is it?

Obviously, the boxing world thinks he's a viable challenger for the title (not merely some shady promotor putting his champion in against some can to milk the reign for as long as possible). It seems fair to say "I don't think Pac is as good as so and so". But, you can't honestly believe that every alphabet rated junior welterweight beats him merely because they have fought at 140 while he has not (though, he did technically fight at 147 in his last fight). If he was that shitty he wouldn't be taking the fight (he doesn't need more money so that he'd want to take a beatdown just for a payday). Surely, some of these less experienced junior welterweights that are rated have question marks over their heads as they haven't faced much quality comp yet. Doesn't Pac's CV militate for a ranking on an ESB board FFS?
