Voted berto-Ortiz.

 

Berto-Ortiz, for me.

Berto’s knockdown was brutal and I thought Ortiz was completely finished from it. He was taking a pounding whilst trying to get away. Hands down, unaware of where he was, head jolting back from monstrous right hands, etc. So for him to out of nowhere deliver a knockdown of his own, had me in total disbelief. He came back from the dead. Almost Castillo-Corrales like.

Whereas Angulo-Kirkland, as brilliant as it was, evoked a less thrilled reaction from me. The first knockdown was sweet, but then I spent the next 90 seconds face-palming at Angulo’s stupidity. Kirkland never looked like he was out of it like Ortiz was, so I didn’t understand why Angulo would throw his all to knock him out. It was only the first round, and a guy like Kirkland was still going to be extremely dangerous. And so when he [Kirkland] managed to whether the storm, it didn’t surprise me at all that he got the upper hand and knocked Angulo down.

 

Those 300 guys have lots of talented fighters, some good kos and a few nice upsets.

 

Without an unquestionable doubt Money/Ortiz round 4 was round of the year.
