i dont care what you say about the man,but at least he dont go ducking any fights,he lost confidence after the pavlik defeats and lost to froch but still had the guts to enter the supersix and take on the other top boxers at the weight.
you have got to give him credit for that win or lose.

Good but not great boxer who dared to be great, evidence of him fighting Hopkins (x2), Pavlik (x2), and Wright at 160 and then moving up to 168 and fighting guys like Froch and Abraham, hell he even entered this tournament. Despite Taylor losing most of those bouts he seemed to be his own victim of defeat (ex stamina issues) to go along with not having a great boxing IQ. Taylor did however make it up his flaws with good handspeed and athleticism. When I think of Taylor I think of a fighter (as I said earlier) that dared to be great which is rare these days. Its just a shame that many will **** on the guy because he may have had some close or gift decisions (Hopkins, Wright), and some losses (yet alot of people ***** about boxers not fighting the best). At the end of the day he could not control how the judges saw it and was always willing to give rematches (Wright) rather than take an easier fight. Taylor has done very well in his career a true warrior that fights anyone, that in my eyes is respect.

Look at Taylor's last 9/10 fights:-

    Hopkins x 2
    Winky Wright
    Spinks
    Pavlik x 2
    Lacy
    Froch
    Abraham

Taylor has never ducked anybody and for that he gets great respect from me. I don't think he's been the same fighter since the Pavlik KO, but he's still a very talented boxer.
