I watched on a stream and couldn't see Quillins face that well but maybe the stoppage was good. I'm not sure. What do you guys think?
it seemed pre-mature but there seems to be enough peopel who think that it wans't a bad stoppage so maybe it's not as bad as I think.... it seemed early to me
so much time in the round left.. quillen woulda gotten hurt badly.. i would have waited until he went down though (he pretty much did, the ref seperated jacobs from him when he was doing the stanky leg, if he let danny go quillen goes down 110%)
Some stopagges are questionable. This is most certainly not one of them. People who suggest otherwise shall change the way they're evaluating stoppages. Nothing to discuss here.
Man you can say he was done til your blue in the face. You gotta give him the chance and make him show he is definitively done. This aint the lets protect these guys from damage business. Yes its one thing to protect someone for too much damage for someone who wouldnt quit. Its another to stop it at the first sign of trouble in round 1. People paid good money to see these guys fight. Theyre chosen occupation is fighting that is what they dedicate there lives too. So let them ****ing fight and dont puss out at the first possibility that somethin is wrong That ref should not be used for future championship fights
the only reason people are sayig it's bad is because the guy they thought would win lost if quillin didn't complain then its a done deal
This. I thought Quillin would take it, but he got destroyed. It was a good stoppage. Hopefully Jacobs keeps his word and fights GGG, since I doubt the Canelo fight is going to happen.
i picked quillin but preferred for jacobs to win. I also was watching on a stream so couldn't clearly see Quillins eyes.
