The Trout crwod is getting desperate. Canelo has so many haters here I'm not surprised. Learn to spot clean effective punching when you see one, because if the knockdown wasn't telling enough who's punching did the damage over the course of the 12 rounds I don't think anything else can. CLEAN EFFECTIVE PUNCHING Not ineffective volume. Close? Sure. Canelo won? Sure.
Yeah it was MOST DEFINITELY much closer but Canelo was too slick too black. Sorry but I'm faded right now lol!
Something tells me some of you had the cards filled out before the fight. Please explain the 115-112 score for Trout?
here's just a thought to what some of you saying. Trout while he was busier, didn't not land to many clean punches and alvarez made him miss quite a bit. this is absolutely true. heres the problem, the majority of that time, alvarez did nothing. so there were times, you could have given trout credit just by aggression. thats what made this fight hard to score.
I stopped scoring after about 4 rounds. It was a very close fight. Trout won his rounds more decisively, but he didn't really land anything big. Canelo's scored a ton of highlight punches, including that knock down. I have no problem with Canelo winning, but those judges were totally off with the score.
