:deal finally someone who speaks sense People tried to give rounds to Donaire for aggression when he wasnt even throwing, Trout was always throwing
The way i see it Trout controlled the tempo for almost the entire fight while Canelo just waited and land 2 or 3 big shots a round. Trout took it for me
close fight for Canelo. Had it by two points. It's hard for me to see Trout victory to be honest, that's my vision of boxing I score the clean affective punching that does more damage. That said the fight on my card was largely decided by the KD so it was a really close fight. I can understand people crying for robbery. They expected Alvarez to press the action and can not get over the fact that he outboxed and out-wit Trout for large parts of the fight
If you want to make the case it was closer than the cards, fine, but there's no ****ing way Trout won...period.
Canelo by 1 point. Basically the knockdown won him the fight IMHO. A lot closer fight that what the scores showed.
I had it 9-3 Trout, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt in rounds 1 and 3 both rounds were razor close. Score them for Canelo and it's 7-5 with the KD, a draw. Close fight, but Trout's consistency and activity earned him the nod.
