I think it will be Marquez II or Guerrero.

Personally I'd like to see Floyd fighting with Austin Trout @ 154. Trout is overall a better fighter than Canelo and more dangerous.:yep

What has Canelo done to deserve a shot? It should be Bradley.

Whoever it is, people will cry.

Its going to be Guerrero, and I think it’s a good fight. The ghost deserves the pay day and good luck to him.

There isnt really that many options for Mayweather.

Martinez Is fighting in April so that’s him out
    Pacquiao TKO6 (say no more)
    Hes already shut out Marquez
    Bradley is with TopRank.

Canelo hasn’t done anything to warrant a shot against Floyd. Personally id like to see him fight somebody in his own weight class first.

Trout is an interesting one but he looks huge at 154 so I doubt Mayweather will go there.

Brook v Alexander has been pushed back a month so that rules that one out.

Theres Malignaggi, possibly Khan or Garcia. But people will scream cherry pick at any of those to.

    Its has to be Guerrero.

Guerrero or Bradley. He isn't big enough for 154.

FMJ is a WW. Make good fights at WW. There have been many good developments there. I am tired of fighters going up to the point where skills don't matter due to size (Cotto/Trout) and you are left with a blah result, an undeserved loss and an under appreciated win. One guy's star is diminished and another guy's star doesn't rise. Meaningless.

Canelo has TONS of great fights at 154 to pursue, i.e., Trout, Budrage, Kirkland, Lara, Martirosyan. etc... or go up to face Martinez. Martinez has tons of great fights at 160 to pursue, i.e., GGG, Pirog, Quillin, etc... or going up. Make it happen!

I am so sick and tired of these big guys choosing to fight smaller men and not make their own name.

I really dont want to see Mayweather perform at 154 again I think he performs better at 147 thing is there isnt really a major fight now pac is out of the equation (not that the fight was likely to ever happen anyway) The Canelo fight interests me a little despite being at 154

I just cant see goldenboy handing his ass to Mayweather when Floyd will be retiring soon, he is going to be their next cash cow and he is protected , Trout wont get a look in, Bradley is TR so thats a no go since timmy isnt mexican and goldenboy have the date secured for themselves in may why give a slice to TR?

its going to be the ghost isnt it? You know what tho Marquez II would sell because the average boxing fan who doesnt go on forums ect would be interested since he is the guy who just knocked Pac the **** out and everyone likes a revenge/rematch dont they?

*******s desperately choosing Canelo in the hope that he could knock Mayweather out, just as Pac has been knocked out

    **** look at that irony....

Floyd isnt big enough for 154 and yet you name a jww and a guy who last year fought as a lightweight as his next opponets

Anything to keep him away from dangerous fighers like Trout and Martinez huh :-(

I admit a fight against Martinez would be the best fight he could take I seriously think Martinez would win too...but I dont want to see floyd at 154 he doesnt perform at that weight like he does at 147

Debatable, Canelo is very strong physically, with dangerous power and top notch combinations. One of the best fighters out there offensively speaking

Trout on the other hand can't smash a cake, but he's faster than Canelo with much better footwork

These two are probably the toughest available matches for Floyd right now
