I think ya’ll missing the point he hurt his knee before the punch was thrown, maybe I gotta watch it again or something.

There was a glazing shot that didn’t register, then the injury, then the temple shot.

Actually after multiple viewings... it does favour the punch rofl.

The way he curls his foot up reminds me of a calf cramp. I wonder if he cramped due to fluid loss and just said "to hell with this".

his knees gave out...couldn't support that body...way out of condition..

After watching it several times...you'd think it was his left knee that actually got hurt...but he was holding to the right knee after going down..weird..:huh

Once again: Vitali landed a right hook on Solis' temple causing him to lose his equilibrium and he went down, it's that simple! Solis got injured when he fell! Again, it's that simple! Lewis and the other announcers should be ashamed of themselves for showing their bias! Thanks to EPIX for showing the fight and shame on HBO and Showtime for their bias!

I'm going with fell for no reason. Probably just seemed like something to do.

The proof is in the video, not in Solis' fans' delusional minds.

He took a deceptively good punch.
Solis walked right in to a right hand by Vitali. It may not have been the best punch in the world, but consider that Vitali is 6' 7" and weighed 250. If any 6' 7" 250 pounder lands even an average shot it is going to hurt. Now consider two things the first is that Vitali's area of expertese is hitting people. In his 42 wins he has 39 stoppage wins. It is very clear no matter what you think about him. He can hit. The other factor leading to the knockdown I have already mentioned. Solis walked right into the punch. By doing so his head and Vitali's fist meet in a head on collision. Since the fist has the mass of the boddy and the force/speed that comes with it. The fist is going to win every time. This is why the counter punch is so effective. In this case the punch itself did not end the fight. It was the leg injury. Rather or not he hurt him self on the way down or he was hurt going into the fight. I'm not going to guess about.
It looked like it was going to be a good fight before it was stopped.

The punch put him over and he injured himself on the way down. What you saw when Solis was attempting to get up was a combination of both playing hell with his balance.

It was a temple punch which can take your legs from beneath you and I belive the injury is legitimate. It's boxing and these things happen. There doesn't need to be some big conspiracy.
