Not really.......Fury beat an unbeaten Chisora and a couple other guys comparable to Tupou in terms of class....

Pulev....I don't really need to go there.

Adamek..... close fights/questionable decisions aside has a far greater resume.
Haye.....just as inactive as Scott, but still a far better resume, even if Scott gets the W over Glaskov.
And above all.....Potvetkin has beaten more world level fighters than anyone else in title fight consideration.

This win will definitely put one of them into title talk, but it don't seal a shot by any means.

A couple more of em, or even some stay busy fights vs top 50s would keep em in the picture till their # got called. Just ask Mormeck, Charr, Wach.

I hope your right, but neither Koyode or Wilder has the full offensive arsenal that Glaskov has, and neither have the decorated amatuer experience.

Glaskov may be green, but he's highly evolved in this sport.

As for steps up.....it's a huge step up for both.:think

The funny thing is, despite having been around for years and being 35-0 nobody outside diehards knows who the **** Scott is...

So it'll be two creditable names in a row for Glazkov, for which he'll receive no credit. :!:

It's a big step up for both men. Scott is better than Hamer that's for sure.

    So do you like Ward?
    Mayweather?
    Byrd?

Certain styles don't appeal to certain types of fans, but I myself find beauty in all styles. What turns me off more than a boring potshot or counter type style is arrogance in a fighter, especially when they duck other types of fighters....ie Ward and Mayflower.

However, Scott aint ducking, so I give him hella props for taking this fight against a stylistic nightmare in Glaskov.

This should be a GREAT fight. possibly as good as Byrd Holyfield.

Oh he'll get credit for the win.....in the rankings at least.

    Same for Scott.

The winner of this fight will be highly touted IMO.:think

Yes but their profile won't be raised much. It'll be a start, at least - seeing as they've been on American TV a combined what, three times? :yep

Awesome and as i was hoping the disasterous 2012 for Glazkov with 6 fights falling through was just a freak abberation. His management is doing a great job testing him and getting National TV exposure.

    Sadly, your right.

    And even sadder than that.....

go to youtube and look Malik up.

There's more videos of his talking than fighting.

Hopefully his hands will come and do the talking for him next month.:yep

Scott has literally never been pushed.
If you look at his record, its 80-72 wins, one after another!

It will be interesting how he reacts to a live fighter.
