Rafael just reported that Glazkov turned down the Wilder fight to go for the soon-to-be vacant IBF title. Assuming Fury won't be defending the title due to the rematch clause vs Wlad, the title will really be vacant soon.

Now, with Teper being out of the ring for the next couple of monhs, Martin seems to be the highest ranked IBF challenger, should he gets passed Breazeale.

How do you like this fight? How do you see it going?

Martin should win this but it is hard to say.

Glazkov wouldn't actually have been a terrible opponent for Wilder, better than Molina and ****.

Hard to call indeed. Martin has been looked very promising so far but I'm not sure if he's ready for someone who has really good fundamentals with a solid chin. Plus, this will be the fight for Czar where he'll have to give it his best. I'd have to give the edge to him.

Glazkov is playing his cards right. he'll take the step aside money and cash out against the Fury/Wlad II winner.

I'm not sure if Wlad would or Fury can do that. It's not right but that's how it goes once a dominant champion retires or gets dethroned.

Glazkov will lose every round and get dropped a few times but win a lopsided Unanimous Decision. See Masternak-Muller For Example.:deal

If I was Glazkov I'd rather face Wilder than Martin. Martin has devastating height and reach advantages over Glazkov but he seems to leave less openings compared to Wilder. Martin also arguably has just as much or more one-punch power via the left.

If it happens I think Martin is the favorite and Duva and Haymon are looking for a big unification fight.

Of course, Martin is relatively untested so if Glazkov has a good night we'll learn alot about Martin.

Turns down a title shot to persue vacant paper trinket?
Glazkov is a disgrace to the sport and the behaviour from the IBF is a sickening joke.

Wilder himself holds a paper trinket. Not like he went through a murderer's row or fought the lineal champ to get his "title."

Yeah Breazeale is a threat too against fighters with defense problems. To me this is a pickem fight. The winner will be Haymon's wild card should Wilder falter.
