    Round 7

Slava backing him up with his jab trying to rough Sullivan up, he's outworking Sullivan,, Sullivan lands huge overhand right, Slava spins and goes down, Slava gets back up again, but the corner stops it and its waved off by the ref.

    Barrera wins by KO7

    Slava still looks absolutely dazed.

Baerrera looked good tonight. I defended Wards choice in Barrera despite him being green and I think he's improved since that night as a fighter.

What kind of fight are you watching? Slava was a dead man waking

Barrera just schooled Shabransky and beat him from corner to corner. Made Shabransky look like a cement-footed, clueless novice.

His coach on the Ukrainian Olympic team was Loma's dad.

Slava may be in physical pain tonight, but that performance tonight was enough to make any defensive-minded coach keel over.

The one where Slava gave one poor last ditch effort to win which failed. He was jabbing Sullivan and was trying, key word trying to rough him up, but it didn't work.

This really puts Ward and Kovalev's class in perspective. Except for Beterbiev, Barrera's probably the next best light heavyweight. Barrea vs Stevenson would be the fight I'd love.

Shabranskyy isn't the next Kovalev, I agree. And yeah, folks were talking bad about Barrera since he lost to Ward, wide. He's in the mix at light heavy.

Good performance by Barrera. I got the feeling he was going to stop Slava after seeing how easily he was able to land that right hand in the first round. Slava's defence to it was shocking. You can't keep eating clean full blooded right hands like that over and over again. Slava's been stopped 4 or 5 times in the amateurs but some of them were AB stoppages and one was on a corner retirement. I don't think his chin is actually that bad it's just he has huge holes in his defence.

This was a good win for sure, but Gvozdyk is still a cut above Sullivan for me. Based off what I just saw, I don't think Slava would've beaten Chilemba at all.
