He caught Lacy with some similar nice right hands like that IIRC. Granted Lacy was shot beyond belief but they were nice shots.

Great performance by Barrera. Would love to see him against Beterbiev next, hopefully visa issues that prevented the fight last time can be sorted out.

For sure, Gvozdyk would be a good one. But I think I might pick Barrera. A bit slicker, better counter puncher.

No, Gvozdyk is far slicker, just because he got caught by Karpency, his first southpaw as a pro doesn't mean he's easy to hit, he got hit far less against Chilemba than Kovalev did, Gvozdyk has fairly impressive defense actually, but hen he does get caught he looks awkard.

Don't forget Barrera wanted the fight Beterbiev refused come to Vegas.

Put some more RESPECK on Ward's name. He didn't beat a cabbie, Barrera is the real deal. Maybe he should retire and let those belts go. LHW is getting better again like it was in the mid 2000s.

    Well why would he retire?

He's still young, he's got the Kovalev rematch and fights against excellent opposition.

175 at the moment is more stacked and dangerous than the 168 division he dominated.
