Should strip Canelo prior to Saturday's match with Khan because he's now saying he won't fight anyone at 160, and why should he give anyone advantage. I don't think he realizes that on fight nite he's actually heavier than that of GGG. So, that being out he should be stripped just as Cotto was when they boxed

    He knows all this

However he is Mexican , the wbc like their Mexican champions , no chance of cane lo being stripped

He can stay at 155 - MW goes up to 160 so he should have no problem with that...

The WBC have said numerous times that if a deal can't be reached with GGG for the fight then they will - as per their rules - strip him.

I'm going to see what happens (hoping the fight gets made personally) before I take to slagging them off further. I've done so in the past when I should have waited for them to release a statement

Cotto was stripped before his fight with Canelo for the same title and he wasn't giving a chance as Canelo is. He should just be stripped now

GGG is making more in step aside money from all these WBC catch weight fighters than in his real fights. I understand he wants the big fight and his "belt" but surely he must be having a laugh behind closed doors?

There was no step aside fee for Canelo to face Khan. It was an agreement between GBP and K2 that Canelo could take a title defense in May to help promote the fight. Loeffler has also said no step aside fee will be taken in the fall.
