i' am a big klitschko fan but i have a little bit different opinion on all the stuff here. there are guys in the history who would give wlad a very close fight. i think that guys like: lennox, holmes and ali would be 50/50 fights against the wlad we see right now. tyson, young foreman and vitali i would favour big to beat wlad. frazier, norton, spinks, moorer, the whole 80 years gang, bowe would be easy going and total domination for wlad. holyfield would be a tough cookie, but i would favour wlad 60/40
Not dominate man but would do well. Prime tyson, ali, foreman , fraizer , shaver , liston , holyfiled , lewis , holmes etc all be testing that chin withiut a doubt and he all seen him vs brwster, and saunders. Its 50/50 toss for him. But to say he was dominate is stupid. But he is an amazing boxer will amazing footwork and power and hand speed. When wlad is done boxing , he should be top 10 HW. The man is great.
Young Tyson vs Now Wlad. I actually think Wlad wins, I think the size differential is massive and despite Tysons bobbing and weaving, feints, speed, I do not seem him getting inside Wlads Jab with power. Tyson would have similar issues to Haye. Once inside Wlads jab, he is stretching and his power shots would not be as powerful. Even in his prime Tyson was most effective from rds 1-6, I see Wlad jabbing his way past that and forcing a late stoppage.
lewis vs wladmir would be like lewis vs golota. lewis hits much harder, vit only survived because his chin is 5inches thicker than wlads.
i thought the same thing when i read the thread title. its cool to be a fan of a fighter but some people take it way to far i could name a dozen heavies off the top of my head that would destroy klitscho
they should rename the undisputed heavyweight title to the ''Wladimir Klitschko Belt'' thats how great the man is!!!
Since Lewis would beat him, he obviously wouldn't dominate that era. The idea that he'd have dominated the 70's is laughable. Obviously, beating the likes of Chagaev and Ibragimov impresses some people more than me. He's physically imposing and has developed a style that works very well for him but going from that to "dominating" Ali, Foreman and Frazier et al, is a big ****ing jump.
Fighters from Eastern Europe have only been in the pro's for about 15 years, but have been dominating for the last 10. So I think its natural that fans would question just how good the champions actually were before then....
