I hate that this fight will delay Klitschko fighting a serious top contender, but I see where he's coming from. Other than that, there's nothing really to comment on. We all know it's a trash fight, but it's understandable that he wants to avenge a loss. That's all.

What was wrong about what I posted? Since beating Wlad, Sanders has done nothing to suggest he's a top HW. Just that right now, at 41, the fight would be seen as more or a farce in my mind. It's not like Sanders has kept busy with good or meaningful wins. He's out of the picture till he puts himself back in. :deal

okay so i just went back and watched the fights vs wlad and vitali. Im not sure if you guys remember but you should go back and check them out. He killed wlad and he gave vitali a run for his money for a while there too. Get sanders a trainer along with some motivation and he whoops wlad again. If this guy was in good shape like the klit brothers and golota always are, i seriously think this guy could have taken vitali. did you see how badly he was hurting vitali in that first round?? Thhe guy is tough as nails and hits very hard. Find some way to get this guy into good shape and he would be a really scary person to face. Not saying here that he would beat wlad but its not as impossible as you all make it seem. a stupid fight for wlad none the less bc if he wins no one cares he beater a golfer if he looses he looses to a golfer its a looose loose situation

You make it sound as if you can expect zero effort from Sanders to get his own self in shape.

Why in the world would he fight this man now!? Round up some belts for crying out loud.

It amounts to **** after Vitali wipped his ass clean of that TKO loss. It means nothing at this point, ever since his brother fought Sanders.

I would think with a name like LennoxGOAT you would be a little more sensible. You know damn well there's no way in hell all of those fighters are busy. Even if by some miracle chance they all did have upcoming fights for the fall, you're gonna tell me that not one of them would cancel in order to get a shot at the HW championship. Like nobody has ever canceled a fight for a title shot. Corrie Sanders is a ****ing bum. He's an out of shape, old has been who has fought two cab drivers after a two year retirement. It's ****in disgraceful for a guy of Wlad's talent and stature to even consider a fight with him right now. I don't give a **** how bad Corrie Sanders beat him.

How do you expect Wlad to fight for a title you idiot, when Sultan and Chagaev are scheduled to fight , and Maskaev has 3 mandatory fights in a row? So for Wlads next fight there is no possible way he can fight for another title. Wlad might as well avenage a loss against Sanders and clean the slate, then face the Chagaev / Sultan winner.

This fight really shouldn't happen. It makes me sick he even thought about taking it. What a cheap way to end the year. Sure, he is avenging another loss, but it means nothing four years later after the man got his ass beat by Wlad's brother. Not to mention coming off a layoff.

Grabbing another belt belt or two will do way more for his legacy than this rematch ever would. You can't compare this rematch to the Brewster fight. Take nothing away from Wlad, but Brewster came off surgery and hadn't fought in over a year. This would be even easier.

This fight is the last thing the HW division needs. Let the beltholders fight eachother.

jeez everyones being a bit hard on wladimir. i mean this will be the last revenge match and against someone who handled him quite easily in their first fight. hell, the rematch might prove to be more a challenge than the one against brewster on saturday. seriously if he does fight sanders why would anyone really be upset? i mean, once he beats sanders around october/november, both he and the winner of the unifaction fight (sultan/ruslan) will be ready to do a 3 belt unification!

i mean would people rather see him fight an even OLDER evander? or a no-name? wladimir is 31 years old! from next year onwards he can simply focus on unification and upcoming tigers. seriously i suspect the main reason behind all this new whinging is that those who have prattled for years that wladimir cannot/will not fight sanders/brewster etc cause he's scared/big bro handles it for him etc. feel like ****en morons when they time and time get proven wrong.

i bet you whingers one thing. that when wladimir signs a deal to unify against sultan/ruslan... there will be MORE whinging! yep, i can't think of the main complaint just yet, but there WILL be something no doubt.

maybe wladimir should fight a taller guy in niko valuev instead of beating up on small short reached heavies. how dare he! :rofl

there will always be whingers and there will always be doer's.:deal

People would be upset because champions, especially ones who are considered the best in their division, shouldn't be fighting guys who aren't even ranked in the top 50. Any other top fighter who tries to fight a guy ranked outside the top 50 would get hammered. It doesn't matter that Sanders beat him. Maybe if Sanders had killed Wlad's brother in the ring, ala Tong Po in Kickboxer, I would understand why people twould think this fight is ok. However, that didn't happen, and it's not ok.

We can't hold it against the man for wanting a rematch.. But four years later is not the time and place. You're brother already beat the guy down, he's coming off a layoff, I mean c'mon. It holds no value at this point. It's not like before or after the Brewster fight he was saying he was on a mission to avenge his losses. In fact, he was talking about unifying the belts after the Brewster fight. Never was Sanders name even mentioned. Might as well dig up 40 year old Ross Purrity. Sanders is 41 BTW.

Wlad/Sanders II is the last thing the division needs right now. It does nothing for boxing, it only prooves to be perfect timing on Wlad's part if he gets a win. So much for talk about wanting to unify those belts. What a dump truck of ****.

WTF are you talking about? Wlad wanted a rematch ,but Sanders vacated the WBO belt and fought his brother for the vacant WBC title. Sanders attended the WBC convention and basically asked what he would be ranked if he vacated the WBO belt, and decied to. I remember reading an article about Wladimir taking up golf to help understand how Sanders thinks, now that is obssesive and a little weird. Wlad got a rematch for the WBO that was ordered but against Brewster for the vacant title.

Hey, why the **** doesn't Foreman get Ali back in the ring for revenge if age doesn't matter at all????
