I too think Vlad's opponents are underrated, Sultan,Chagaev,Ibragomov, Brock,Chambers,Byrd,Povetkin, and Wach,Pianeta,Brock,Castillo, Ibragomov,Chagaev,Povetkin were all undefeated

I was making a counter point, to a previous post who used Corrie Sanders as an example of why Lennox would win. I thought the example was poor because A) Sanders was a southpaw, his punches come from angles many pros are unaccomsted too. B) Wlad was willing to take that fight, where Lennox NEVER tested himself against any southpaw.

Two ripped muscular prime fighters(mccall and rahman) destroyed Lewis.
But a 37 years old fat, unathletic out of shape Sanders could knocked wladimir out easily.
Big difference.
Lewis destroyed far better fighters than this below average sam peter easily.
(Golota,Ruddock,Briggs,Rahman etc.)

 

I guess that Sanders being unathletic attributed to him being a youth champion sprinter and hot rugby prospect. And his hand speed and power were horrible, too. Probably the definition of unathletic.

 

He had a 4 round gas tank. He had only fought twice in the 3 years prior when Wlad cherry picked him.

 

Wlad fought many southpaws in his career and struggled with none of them.

Sanders beat Wlad by moving around him instead of coming in straight like the rest of the average men he fought. Just like Williamson did who was orthodox.
