Looking at the wasteland of heavyweight fighters, especially regarding the WBA, IBF, WBO ranking guys who arent worthy why dosent Wlad go on a rampage...and clear the deadwood- This is what i suggest of course subject to each changeling contender to Wlad continuing to win. So ive picked guys who i think due to their match making will still be winning come fight night.

Il give reasons and the background to these fighters and why it could happen and Where.

    2011

    USA - Oct C. Arreola - Currently 33-2 - Fight time 34-2
Looks like he will be fighting in 2 months time (Aug)...perfect fight for Wlad to take on a guy who could well be 34-2. IBF 5th / WBA 15th/ WBO 13th

    Germany - Dec A. Ustinov - Currently 23-0 - Fight time 24-0
Unbeaten Russian who at 6'7 and half and over 280 would be a marketable fight. IBF 13th/ WBA 4th/

    2012

    France - Jan J.M. Mormeck - Currently 36-4 - Fight time 37-4
Former Undisputed Cruiserweight champion, Wlad takes it to him in his hometown. IBF 12th/ WBA 7th

    Germany - Apr A. Povetkin - Currenty 21-0 - Fight time 23-0
Unbeaten Olympic Gold medal winner and holder of the WBA regular belt. IBF 10th/ WBA 2nd/ WBO 4th

    USA - Jun C. Boswell - Currently 35-1 - Fight time 37-1
Top level journeyman who holds wins over prospects and former champs, time to get rid of this man from the rankings. WBA 14th

    Germany - Aug A. Dimtrenko Currently 32-1 - Fight time 35-1
Carefully matched contender, and fellow ukranian big man. WBA 6th/ IBF 9th/ WBO 7th

    USA - Oct D. Boystov Currently 28-0 - Fight time 30-0
Another good but carefully matched prospect - IBF 6th/ WBA 3rd/ WBO 5th

USA - Dec R. Helenius Currently 15-0 Fight time 19-0
Dangerous fighter and perhpas the best of this years bunch. IBF 3rd/ WBA 8th/ WBO 2nd

This would be a sure way to bring back heavyweight boxing. Some of the fights could be on free to air tv, and becuase of the consistency and sheer activity I dont think people would mind watching the champ take care of business roughly every 2 months.

America doesn't want to bring back heavyweight boxing until the champion is American again. FACT...........

Hey if they keep hearing about Wlad and watch him knock guys out then people will start to care again.

Also side note but Tyson did this-

    1986
    Nov T. Berbick

    1987
    Mar J. Smith

    May P. Thomas

    Aug T. Tucker

    Oct T. Biggs

    1988

    Jan L. Holmes

    Mar T. Tubbs

    Jun M. Spinks

Was meant to then fight the following under the Cayton/ Rooney influence...

    Sept F. Bruno

    Nov C. Williams

But of course his life spiralled out of control and instead fought Bruno and Williams in 1989....so from June 1988 to Feb 1990 which is 22 months...Tyson had 2 fights.

From Nov 86 to June 88 which is 19 months...he had 8 fights.

Yet again its interesting in the fact that his best form was when active, sometimes you have bad fights ala J. Smith...but you constantly improve...which Tyson did. When Tyson came under D. King then he had 6 fights less and 3 months more.

Alot of fighters have like 8 to 12 week training camp....well if you fought often, you really only 4 to 5 week camp, as your so active...forget getting into shape ...as you already are in shape...

I like your line of thinking, thread starter. CHEF should see your post and run it by Wlad, just to see how he feels about it.

Wlad going on a streak of dominant wins over this list of guys is pretty much the best road he could take right now imo. I also like the order of the fights too.

If Povetkin hadn't ducked his own mandatory title shot, he'd already be on Wlad's resume. I wonder when he will finally "be ready" to face Wlad. Let's hope that fight happens someday.

man, You have no clue how this sport works, Does he get no time off, THis sport is about money and Wlad is making ten of million, he doesn't need to fight 6 time a year, it is flat out stupid if he did.

Thanks i think your one of the few who get what im trying to do. We wait all year for one fight and this does not do anything but harm. It dosent help Wlad, nor line his pockets fighting once or twice a year.

All the fighters i listed believe or not are actually ranked....I mean no way should Boswell be top 15 yet he is there, so why dosent Wlad ****ing take this guy out...smash him up.

Boswell, M. Scott, Rodriguez would all take half a mill to a mill for the fight......give the fights to RTL, SKY TV, HBO for free....and then when big fights happend like Povetkin or Helenius guys are a serious threat to Wlad...its PPV.

Millions would keep hearing about Wlad just knocked this guy out, or you will see constant news reports of him smashing guys to bit.

This is what Joe Louis did...fought 7 times in one year.

Ali fought 8 fights in 1 and half years.

    Tyson did the same.

Wlad needs to take the deadwood out.

And this is exactly why the sport is dying, you think fighting 6 times a year is bad?

Why would Wlad take time out? I bet you any money Wlad several weeks after the Haye bout is ok physically.

I could understand if he had been in a war.....if that was the case then yeah take several months out.

Tennis, Basketball, Football, NFL.....all kinds of sports actually participate more than boxing do.

Hell K1 fights normally have 7 or 8 bouts a year.....(3 rounds i know but some of those fights are far more taxing on the body...getting kicked in the head aint easy)

Anyhow.........if Wlad fought a fight, he could take 2 weeks of...then go into a 6 week camp...and hey presto he is in another fight within 2 months of his last.

In fact becuase the fights are so close, he could well just 4 or 5 week training camps.

It might inspire all the heavyweights, all the boxers to start fighting....guys fighting each other all the time.

Wlad is a different animal than Tyson though. Tyson was a born fighter, Wlad is a made fighter. As such, Wlad is a consumate professional, and I couldn't see him taking a fight every 2 months or so. He obviously (I'm guessing) likes to prepare fully for his fights, as he doesn't want to make the same mistake he made all those years ago, before the modern age of boxing began (yes, his losses WERE that long ago).

That being said, I don't feel as though he would need that much time to prepare for most of those fights, save maybe Helenius, Povetkin, and the best possible fight out there, Adamek. But, theres no way he would fight that often. But who wouldn't want to see him fight that often? A huge KO every few months or so??? Awesome man!

It's high time for America to wake up and smell the Global Community. Now that we are in Generation Text, borders have virtually disappeared in the sporting community. As close as 10 years ago, we didn't have the sort of access to information we do now. Everything is only a keystroke away, making it much easier to be a fan of a non-home team or athlete. America, as a whole, is unfortuantely very ego-centric and arrogant. As individuals, they seem to be very much like us Canadians. If the American media would stop keeping their noses in the air concerning foreign athletes, I bet many American people would fall back in love with the sport. They just need a little push, then they will do the rest.

I do find it amusing that people say Americans need excitement to like a sport. How many games in the NFL end up 10-3, or 7-6? Don't give me that crap. The American machine is stubborn, and if an American is not at the top, the media simply doesn't care (obviously with a few exceptions). I agree, if there were fights on regular tv again, like I remember watching The Razor demolish Bonecrusher on ABC Wild World of Sports I believe when I was a kid, the American Public would support the Heavies again. They just need some exposure, and the media needs to realize this isn't 1980. The Commies aren't coming, only the best athletes in the world are!

2 months a fight. HAHA. Wheres the time for the promotional tours, and rest. The Klitschkos are huge in Europe and they always have big pressers. This takes time and planning( Hotels, locations that can hold it, traveling days etc...) What about a social life too? Wlad isn't a robot with no interests , personal life , or hobby's..

Don't get me wrong I love active fighters and would like to see him fight more often. Which has slowed these last few years while lining up unification fights and waiting and getting pulled out of fights by Haye+Povetkin. It's just not realistic.

Although if you divide those names into 2 groups you have a more realistic chance of it being accomplished by the brothers together. After all; who would you then want Vitali to fight??????
