I would imagine Fwank has been to the channel 5 offices in recent months.

If 5 think they can do something with boxing.....why would the go with Hennesey!

I don't see Fwanko leaving SKY although he is no doubt bigger than SKY I don't see It.

I think this Box Nation channel is more of another avenue to explore PPV for his smaller cards, probably.

No chance this happens. All of Frank's fighters would leave him for Matchroom.

Nothing can compete with Match of the Day or Football First. Football is king

I find that a monopoly gives you most of what you want as the top dog doesn't lose either way. A competative market in combat tends to see us miss out on ALOT of match ups as too many people are scared to lose in their investment - whether it is the promoter, fighter etc

UFC gives us the majority of fights we want. GBP and Top Rank give us the majority of fights in house.

On the flipside a monopoly can bring about complacency.

We need simplicity in boxing, less weight classes, less belts, less everything. I liked Sky having a monopoly on the domestic scene just because 90% of the time I knew they'd show us the British fights etc and the odd big fight.

What they should have, is one channel that shows every single fight. This channel would also pay you to watch.

This has been rumoured for a while now! But he will be putting a lot of his own shows on through his own production. Due to the limited sky dates an getting all his stable "working".

He could have his own ppv's and call them 'Wa*r*n Box Office' which will tie in/be appropiate with all the fights- for as allways they will be 'WBO' fights.

Doubt this, he doesn't even have any PPV level fighters.

Fwank W.A.R.R.E.N is not stupid enough to think he can make more money with his own channel outside of sky.

He is heavily reliant on sky, he is most likely using this threat as a bargaining tool to stop sky from ****ing him in the arse over negotiations for his events.

What way do Sky sort out the dates for each promotion is it yearly or every couple of years? I think this could be a bargining tool from W.arren to get the extra dates. I like what Hatton has done with the cards that havnt been shown and put them live on youtube which is great I wonder if more promotors will use youtube to showcase the fighters that dont get the tv exposure.

Greedy fighters and fat promoters need to realise that nobody wants PPV anymore and nobody thinks it's good value for money.

Thanks to people like David hate and fat Fwank trying to rip us off with shite all the time they have finally over done it and shot themselves in the foot. People arnt prepared to pay for shite anymore . It's over. Now they have to accept this and deal with it.

Hope he goes to be honest, hopefully would free up some cash for decent overseas bouts and we can pick whether to watch his or not.

And knock Saturday fight night on the head, bring back friday fight night, have the odd Saturday show if there is a real big card on.

Bring in some fresh blood to Sky, someone that will really appreciate the platform i.e. Spencer Fearon, Hennessy, Brian Peters etc.
