There are maybe some roids that can block receptors so your brain stops sending "it's over" signals.
Also roids can be used to strenghten neck muscles more easily.

Its sad that the likes of Jones, Toney, and Mosley were getting away with these unfair advantages for years and now they have opened the floodgates for boxers all around the globe to believe cheating is ok.

Ban Wach for life, he's an absolute ****ing disgrace to the sport of boxing just like the PED apologists on here are an absolute ****ing disgrace to this forum.

I don't think just the use of PEDS is his biggest mistake personally.

I'm almost 99% sure that they removed the padding on purpose, which is a much bigger offense than using PEDS in my opinion.

    Lifetime ban would be nice.

That's not quite true. Until about his last 5 fights he always looked feather fisted for his size. Then around that team he changed over to his American based team and then out of nowhere seemed to have developed devasting one punch KO power.

Dempsey stated he was a featherfist once too, I'm sure he didn't need roids for that.
    Just proper technique.

Roids only make training easier, I doubt they create more punching power.
Unless it's impossible to naturally achieve your "optimal fighting condition" without the use of roids.

With optimal fighting condition I mean the fat % and muscle weight you fight best at.

    Steroids dont block off receptors.

    Thats not what steroids are.

As for the neck strengthening, you are talking minimal difference in neck strength between a juicer and one who doesnt.

Theres only so much you can do to make your neck stronger.

That's totally wrong. The argument goes recovery times are aided so a fighter can recover from being rocked more quickly. I somewhat doubt that as well as the recovery time improvements associated with steroids are longer term than that (eg. allowing less down-time between workouts.) There's also speculation about more testosterone, more fight, but I have no idea about that.

    What a shame.

He was never going to be good enough to beat with or without ROIDs anyway.

This guy should have used whatever JMM,PAC..etc are using.

Fighters who test positive or are found to have loaded wraps should be banned for life. Boxing is dangerous enough as it is.

    Slow down there, nellie!

They aid recovery terms in terms of HOURS, not seconds. - And it aids in recovery of the muscle cells from being torn, it doesn't aid in recovering from a concussion.

This is the case of someone reading some fact and then completely misinterpreting it. (Kind of like what Alex Ariza does on a weekly basis. )

Right. People need to realize PED's may enhance certain physical qualities, but they can't hardly make you a more capable fighter.

Completely agree, if boxing has any kind of moral decency then the likes of Jones, Toney, Mosley, Holyfield, Peterson, Margarito, Wach, Tarver etc should have all received instant lifetime bans :-(

Its sickenning what these disgracefull cheats have been allowed to get away with for years, putting the lives of their opponents at risk through unfair advantages, and the only thing worse than these ****ing disgraces are their blinkered fanboys who come on here trying to sweep the cheating of their idol under the carpet :nono
