Wow. Could you possibly edit my post to misrepresent what I actually said any more? Let's read it in its entirety:

Note I said I doubt the short-term recovery effects as the proven recovery effects are longer term.

I'm floored that you managed to read the first two sentences of a four sentence post and responded only to the first half. I hope in the future you have the patience to read a little more before responding.

This is pretty much what I think too.

I think the main difference between the guys who get cought, and the ones who dont, is that the ones who dont test + actually know what they are doing, or hire the guys that do.

    Just imo.

Wont be long till the oncoming rampage of fanboys who cant ever believe their heroes would do such things will be here though

I see what you MEANT to say now. Unfortunately, the way you worded it was incorrect, (I was an English major as an undergrad, and tend to interpret things exactly) and you misrepresented YOURSELF. (seriously) You left out 2 commas that would have completely changed the meaning of that sentence.

So mea culpa but also right back at you!

Anyway, what you MEANT to say is correct, so OK then. Good to know, since I usually agree with your posts & this one surprised me.

Hahaha you're a ****ing fool. I'm a published writer with degrees in technical writing. "As well" did not need to be set off by commas and it changes nothing. It was a clear reference to my first sentence calling what I quoted "totally wrong." If you lack the reading comprehension to understand my posts, then don't bother replying to them.

    Anyway, don't worry--I don't hold grudges here.

I agree, but drug usage is a plague in all pro sports in the modern era. Too much to gain, too much to lose. Only a very small percentage are clean.

Cableaddict: To avoid more back-and-forth over grammar, let me explain why commas setting off "as well," were not required in this context: the way I intended the sentence is the only way it can be read that makes any sense at all. Clarifying commas were not required, but would not have been incorrect if included--it's subjective and merely a style issue involving optional commas, and as you should know with your background, commas are very often optional. There are great authors who chose to use all optional commas possible and those who use minimal commas only to clarify something that could otherwise have multiple interpretations.

The way you initially interpreted the sentence makes no sense, leaving only one possible interpretation. If you thought I meant that I doubt short-term recovery and longer term recovery time reduction, nothing after the word "steroids" makes any sense with regard to context or usage. The sentence becomes nonsense. There is, therefore, only one way to interpret the sentence.

PED use is big in boxing and why shouldn't it be? Old outdated testing procedures that are easily beaten by modern drugs. Current PED testing in boxing is a cruel joke and I've been saying it for years.

drugs that cure disease are a good thing
drugs that make you feel better, perform better, and recover a little faster for some reason is EVIL
youre too ****ing sensitive, its not a big deal. PEDs doesnt mean the guy shoots up with steroids 24/7 to make him some kind of super soldier. its not cut and dry like that. quit being a baby

You are repeatedly one of the biggest PED apologists on esb, its clear that you are a drug addict yourself :-:)dead:dead

Your basically and absolute ****ing disgrace with a giant donger swinging from your hideous front teeth :lol::lol::lol::rofl:patsch

  13. How is it coward ****? It optimizes your abilities to the fullest. EVERYBODY is taking SOMETHING. Whether a supplement to give them more energy or vitamins... everybody tries to keep up with the times and get the most out of their performance as athletes.

I mean, I won't act like a hypocrite.. I have called Peterson PEDerson same with Android Bertroid but when you put yourself in that spotlight it's hard not to give in. If MEMO gives me a call telling me he's got the best undetectable **** in the business I would ink a deal up ASAP. Get myself financial security and the best shot at a guy WHO PROBABLY is taking some undetectable **** too. Get what I mean?

I'm not talking about curing diseases. I'm talking about elite level athletics. Quite the big difference, dude.

It's beyond cowardly. Especially in this sport, where your body is everything and you're physically punching your opponent into submission. Folks who have actuallly never juiced get robbed out of a better livlihood for their children and themselves because some cheater took their place/knocked them out/etc. and they likely would not have without the PED's.

If PED's had minimal affect on a user in this sport, do you think boxers would risk using them and getting suspended, fined, and forever looked at negatively by fans? Come on now, don't be stupid. You're better than this garbage opinion.

I'm guessing both of these guys had amateur careers and juiced themselves at some point...? Only explanation I can see.

PEDS do endanger other people because you're beating them.

But I think removing padding/plaster/blinding an opponent is worse because that's a more active form of cheating while PEDs are more passive.
Shane Mosley was still working his ass off with or without PEDs, Vitali was working his ass off with or without PEDs.
