As most know, Polish monster, Mariusz the Viking Wach is fighting Tye Fields next month in a bout that could possibly answer some questions as to Wachs potential to take on and possibly out, one of, or both the K2.

Wach's fight with Fields should end as most expect. That is with Fields laying on his back, withdrawing the mouthpiece while spitting blood and slobber from his nose and mouth.

But......Fields is a step up from Gavern. Gavern hit Wach multiple times to the chin and temple area and Wach seemed less than fazed. Fields however carries a ton of power, but will his chin hold up long enough to test Wachs. My guess is yes. I think Fields knows this may be his last shot at a bigger money fight should he win, and he'll use his power to try to stop Wach. Wach is a big target, and Fields can throw a powershot accurately enough to catch Wach early. Although I think Wach's chin is strong, and the outcome not in question.

So, after Wach gets past Fields, I could see him enter the top 20. I think he should target the WBF title holder Grant, and the winner, a Klitschko. Grant is a big man, and was competitive with Adamek and has a few decent wins in his latest comeback campaign.

I think this fight could lead to Wlads next challenger and it's a fight I'd like to see.

But as the thread title suggests, name a few potential opponents that could have Wach lined up for Wlad after he's done with Mormeck and Arreola.

    Grant
Adamek( big fight in Poland or AC)
    Welliver
    Mitchell
    Fury
    Dimitrenko
    Helenius
    Ustinov

All the above mentioned fringe contenders would likely get a shot if they should be victorious over Wach, and viceversa.:deal

    Who should he pursue next.:deal

I am not sure but if he gets a shot at one of the brothers, I feel for the well being of JETSKI and Izonizer. I wonder if they will be all in once again similar how they claimed Adamek would win against Vitaly?

Wach has a much better chance of beating Vitali, purely becauce both are about 6'7 250, Vitali wouldn't have the size and reach advantage ( Wlad would actually be looking up to Wach), but that doesn't mean Wach would win, I don't think that he's got the skills, stamina or experience(YET) to compete with either Bro

Wach would get utterly raped by Vitali, even if he was 7'3.

How the hell anyone who comes from Sweden - a country full of homos and pacifists (about 99% of population) where government protects everyone from everything (including job - MrMagic example) and where boxing were prohibited - can write anything on the topic? :patsch

Go **** yourself you dumb mutt. I always predicated an Adamek win based on conditional statements as in "if" Adamek does this or that, then has a chance, none of which Adamek did. I guess these kinds of statements are beyond your reading comprehension. Go **** around with Haye fans, where you belong.

Wach is a bit unnatural, looks a little awkward in there at times. I also doubt that he has the mentality of a true fighter, something tells me he will go soft when hit hard. On the other hand, he has been willing to learn ever since his transplantation to the US, and thats evident in his improved technique, more effective aggression and ko ratio. If matched well he can probably get his title shot, but I don't see him winning at this point. I want to see more of him though. Would love to see him matched up against Fury or Valuev.

So you'd like to see Fury after Fields.....I'm sure Maruizs is licking his huge chops thinking about the opportunity to starch the giant fraud. I don't think Fury is quite as enthused, that is unless Fields exposes a weakness such as what you listed.

And as for your defense of Adamek against Vitali........all the what if's in the world couldn't help him against Vitali. His chin is soft at HW and his power softer. Wach on the other hand has shown a solid beard and tremendous power.

If I'm a Polock, Im investing my hope in Maruizs Wach. Spzilka is getting KOd the second he fights a Clevel fighter with a chin.:deal
