Volodymyr has Mormeck, then IBF mandatory Thompson by the end of June or July, he wanted Arreola this past Dec but Arreola said he wasn't ready and Povetkin is now saying he wants to fight Vova so i don't see Wach getting a shot anytime soon. Those 3 or 4 fights will happen first and take him into 2013 and i would expect someone like Pulev or Boytsov to become the next legit contender by next year.

    Adamek and Helenius beat Wach
Ustinov, Dimitrenko, Fury, Mitchell could go either way.

I wouldn't be so sure about Szpilka if I were you, especially in comparison to Wach. Common sense should tell you that Szpilka is a much more natural fighter and most likely a stronger puncher, certainly stronger pound for pound. Before you trudge out Szpilka's last bout, where he made a few strategic blunders against a can before stopping him in the second and where his power didn't seem omnipotent for the first time, let's remember a few facts a) this was his 9th career fight and only his 4th fight as a HW, and this is the time many fighters learn and work things through by making various mistakes..except Szpilka's mistakes are noticed much more because he's under a microscope b) he has undergone extensive hand surgery, so his hands were not likely healthy when he faced his last opponent. All I'm saying is give this dude time that any other fighter is given to see what comes of him. IMO he takes Wach today and would eat him alive in a year or so.

stopped reading after this, were talking about the same Tye Fields who had the floor wiped with him in one round by Mike Perez, Monte Barret and an old Michael Grant right?

if Wach wants to prove himself to take on the Klits he would need an impressive perfomance against Helenius, Chisora, Fury, Arreola, Adamek, Perez and so on.

fighting guys like Tye fields proves nothing

The only question mark regarding Wach is his ability to take a bomb from another big fighter. Fields MAY be able to land that bomb early, and answer that question.

Perez, Barrett, and Grant are proven guys. All of which are trying to get a title fight. Grant or Wach would get a shot in lieu of Potvetkin backing out, IF they fight each other next. It's a perfect fight IMO. Grant has the ring generalship and power to make a good fight with Wach. And if Mariuzs mops the floor with Fields like the above guys did, he's young and strong enough to KO an aging Grant. And this older Grant is twice the man that was getting rolled over 12 yrs ago. If the Grant 12 yrs ago had the fortitude of this Grant, he may have been the HW Champion Americans were hoping him to be.

Naturally, I think this is the best fight out there for both. Either would rate a title shot in a win. And like I said, Wlad would make this fight if Potvetkin were to back out again, or if Arreola is nowhere to be found.:deal

Truer words have never been spoken.

I hope people who like him aint to invested in him. He's got NO hope of reaching the Bclass. I'd take Adamek to KO him in 30 seconds.

Undoubtedly Maruisz chin is covered with slobber thinking about this opportunity. And that's a lot of chin to cover.:D

wach is a terrible fighter. his size is his only redeeming quality. he is slow, with **** stamina, untested chin etc etc. the guy is getting exposed the second he fights a top 15 fighter.

He pumps the jab better and better each time out. He uses his height unlike Helenius and Fury. As to his chin.....I agree it's relatively unknown, but the few times Gavern had success, he really applied pressure to Wach's chin, clubbing him with OH rights, and forcing Mariuzs to fight off the backfoot, which he did well.

Granted, Gavern aint exactly a powerhouse, nor is Mcbride, but both were able to land hard right hands on the Poles chin to little effect.

That's why Im so hyped about this fight with Fields. He's a sleeper, and if he's not bombed out in the first couple rounds, he usually is able to test his opponents chin, and I don't think anyone would say Fields is featherfisted. He's a powerhouse in his own right.
I fully expect Mariuzs to win BWO KO, but I expect him to be tested as well.

After Fields, Grant, then Fury/Potvetkin, then off to Germany to fight a K2.

Either one, but I expect Wlad would be the easier in which to get the big fight.:deal
