True, and it's too early. But based on sparring with Povetkin, Wach feels good about becoming champion.

Wach is wack (someone was going to say it )

It was a nice KO, but McBride isn't even a fringe contender. It'll be fun to see how this Wach guy does but I can't see him getting as far as a Klitschko fight. If that was him at his best I doubt he'll make it past anyone of the quality of Haye/Adamek/Povetkin or Chambers/Chagaev/Helenius etc. It would be great to see him go up against someone like Fury though. It's about time some of these prospects fought each other

All the same, it's good to have a new Polish fighter coming through. Those guys are good boxing fans and it's good for the sport if they are represented in the division

most guys that big are gonna have power. obviously he COULD put wlad to sleep. however, wlad has a great jab, conditioning, and is super cautious. mcbride may have a better chin but he doesn't have wlad's skill, deterimination, and most importantly his work ethic (mcbride looked like the michelin man and was almost certainly gassed after 2 rounds). Wlad would have to be a pretty big favorite to outbox wach, but i too would rather see him in with someone like wach who at least has the physical tools and hopefully the courage to provide at least the small potential of an upset. Rather than Wlad fighting small guys he can keep at the end of his jab or guys like Haye who don't have the heart to give it his best shot

Even if he hits Waldo's sweet spot with the best **** he got, i doubt that Waldo would be out cold like McBride
WK chin ain't as bad as ppl. make it be; he'd been hit with some solid shots over the years and took them very well.
It has more to do with Waldo lacking confidence in his punch resistance ability and panicking when **** hits the fan.

Having power is one thing, but delivering is another. :beat

Wach is not ready for a Klitschko, don't think he is ready for Tyson Fury or Helenius, but Wilder would be a good opponent for Wach if Fury does not get him first...........

Wach is way too slow to ever land cleanly like that on Wlad. His hand speed is quite frankly atrocious it's like he's punching through treacle. I could right a short skit, travel to Edinburgh and perform it at the Edinburgh festival in the period of time it takes Wach to extend his jab out. Wlad would win every minute of every round before KOing Wach.

and who's to say that he won't?????
he has time, and he has size, and looks to be in good shape, he needs to work on punching technique though, once he tightened up that right hand, he got the KO, so his future does look bright in my eyes

Wlad would take out Wach within a few rounds. This dude is way too slow, he probably won't land a single flush shot on Wlad.

He's been pro 6 years and had 25 fights. Time to start stepping up if he's ever gonna do it.

Not stepping up to the likes of Klitschko but better opposition.

Well. I dont really think wach is that slow. Watch his earlier fights with smaller, faster guys that he KO'd. Also Valuev was slower than Wach yet still was good enough to be a world champion.

When K2 retire we'll be left with a division filled with Prices, Wachs, Wilders, Fury's, etc and guess what people will be saying - that Klitschkos were the last good big men in boxing.
