We do. Not only they offer you one career-high purse, but many, if you win the contract forces them to stage another superfight with another Klitschko under the wealthiest HW promotion today. Isn't that what fighters should want, or at least us fans, the one defeating the no1 taking on the no2?
It seems like such a great deal for Wach; Fight Wlad for a tiny fraction of the total purse & if he wins, fight Vitali for a similar fee & if he wins fight Wlad again for a predetermined cut & if he wins fight someone else of K2's choice, also for a small amount. All the above fights take place under K2 conditions (ringsize, location, date, gloves, ref etc)
If a fighter beats a Klitschko, they should have the freedom to do whatever they want to do. It's completely unfair to force them into a rematch and then a fight with their brother. Actually, it's not even unfair, it's pathetic. Not only that but it sets a bad precedent for the future. What about it K2 sign another good heavyweight, say David Price, and then their contracts are always four fight deals? If a fighter beats Vitali twice, he must then face Wlad and if he beats Wlad, he must then face Price. Would that be fair? What about if K2 signed another heavyweight and instead of a four fight deal, K2 had an agreement for a 5 fight deal? It's just bull****. Of course, maybe fans, and I don't mean boxing fans, would say "hey, it's not all bad, the guy can clean out the division!". Pathetic. What about the money? Because when an opponent beats one Klitschko, he doesn't get the majority of the money, hence the use of the term "slave". If Wach somehow beat Wlad twice, would he deserve less money than Vitali? No, so why should he accept their bull**** deals?
K2 are the most corrupt, unfair promotional company in boxing and they only promote two significant boxers. You will not hear of massive companies like GBP, Top Rank, Matchroom etc., being accused of poor deals so regularly, despite them being involved in hundreds of fights per year.
The funny about this moaning of yours about these K2 contracts is that you were wanking yourself silly due to the 'Super 6's' format. Strange, very strange.
Klit-tards are always reminding us that other fighters are not 'ready' to face them. I suspect it has more to do with **** pay and bull**** rematch clauses than readiness. If they paid enough they'd always get the best available challenges. I'll be so glad when they've retired, as will most boxing fans.
It's not strange because the Super 6 format is entirely different. If they were in any way comparable it'd be strange...but sadly, that's where your argument falls apart, at the very first hurdle. Ridiculous comparison. It has no base at all.
Of course they're comparable and you know it. You're not fooling anybody. Froch beats Dirrel and it's already predetermined he then has to face Kessler. Yeah nothing comparable with that. atsch
yes having one Unified Heavyweight Champion would be so awful right? :roflatsch Maybe we could go back to the days of all the belts being held by Chris Byrd, John Ruiz, Hasim Rahman, and Lamon Brewster and them never fighting each other. That was such an awesome time in the Heavyweight Division :roflatsch
"Outrageous! If you win the title, you should have the right to hold the titles hostage for years and fight any tomato can you want, when you want! Only a slave like Rahman would defend his title in a rematch!" This content is protected
It was a tournament so the structure was entirely different. Aside from that, one major difference is that it wasn't one fighter calling all the shots, getting the most money and choosing the locations. Why should Wach make less money than Vitali if he beats Wlad? He'll have more titles and be ranked higher. Why shouldn't he be allowed to fight in Poland?
"Listen to Foreman, Wach! I KOed Lewis in 5 and wanted to defend my belts against Tyson. But my slave master, Lewis forced me into a rematch when I wasn't ready. Hold out for a better offer or you'll end up like meeeeeeee!" This content is protected
"Hi Wach, I'm Jack Dempsey. Back when I won the title, I took a full year off from boxing and went to Hollywood, I was treated like a King, it was the greatest time of my life. Get this, I never even defended my title against the #1 contender. Don't be a slave, don't be like Rahman, hold out for a better offer. Become a legend!" This content is protected
