They do have that freedom, if they are mandatory challenger. No mandatory challenger has to sign rematch clauses :deal

All those bums bitching about K2 contracts are little dipshits who get voluntary title shots and who are unwilling or unable to get a mandatory challenger position. That's how pathetic these shitty contender ares. They're too lazy to work to get a real contract so they get the cheap volunraty contract and then they moan and ***** about it.

They want it their lazy way but want all the benefits of a mandatory challenger.

Yes please show us the percentages for the options that you are complaining about. Im pretty sure they would go up fairly dramatically should the fighter continue to win.

Also pretty sure the brothers wouldn't have any problem moving a rematch to Poland, or another place for another fighter. Since if the fighter pulled off the upset, he could pack house in his native land.

And in case you missed it( talking about their opponents), their(45,000+) always there regardless of the opponent so don't think it's because of you, their only there to watch you get KO'd

 

**** really worked out good for Dimitrenko, and Liakhovich. Both were offered fights, but wanted more, and believed they would become mandatory, look at them now. Bet they would have rathered have taaken the lose and the money they'd have gotten from fighting either bro, then the lose and peanuts they got from fighting Chambers,Pulev and Hellinous,Jennings.

A lose vs either Klitschko doesn't even hurt your rankings that bad. Haye, Adamek, Chagaev, Arreola etc.. all lost and are still top ranked. **** Adamek and Haye are #2,3 or 3,4, depending on where you rate Povetkin.

this is the first klitschko fight i've been excited about in years. I was excited about vitali-adamek but knew it would be a one sided beatdown. at least in this fight you have an undefeated giant heavyweight with power to match wlad. depending on the circumstances, if this fight is cancelled i'll lose all respect for wlad, because no way would wach want to lose out on this opportunity to become the HW division's majority beltholder.

Don King's options include handing him the majority of revenues for 3 fights. As do Sauerland's options. This is why options exist in voluntary title shots: It's for lazy boxers who want a title shot the ease way and who are willing to sign options away for that. It's a simple trade. A quick and easy chance to win a belt while forfeiting revenue on future title bouts. That obviously includes choice of venue, opponent etc. as all that is decided by the promoters, not by the title holder.

Any boxer who doesn't like that can just go the mandatory route. I don't see what's unfair here as this sounds totally fair and transparent to me.

 

What is hilarious is King did this for DECADES and it was OK but if the Klitschko's do it then it becomes evil and bad for the sport etc. Anyone remember the cluster **** that was the heavyweight Divison in the 1980's? It was because of King and his cronies. Hell, King tried to demand options on Vitali when he was the champion and his fighter (Rahman) had no belt :roflatsch

BTW, Jacks hero the exciting David Haye had to hand over options for 3 fights after the Valuev fight. :roflatsch You won't hear him mention that though.

 

atsch Sauerland didnt choose Audley, Ruiz & Wlad for Haye & then dictate when Haye should fight them, under what conditions & how much for, plus Haye earned over £1m more facing Valuev instead of Vitali.
