Wach Receives 1-year suspension

I havent heard anything about the gloves at all. I do know something was wrong with the glove AFTER it was "OK" the day before when the gloves were picked. The only ppl that could have tampered with them were either the ref (who was holding them AFTER they were chosen) OR team Wach when they got the gloves in the locker room 30 minutes before they were laced up

But I do still love that boxing fans don't realize well more world class boxers are on PED's then not on them.

He'd receive a 2 year ban in every other sport.

 

12 months and 5k seems very lenient considering the reality of what he was doing. He isn't cheating to run quicker or lift more than his competitors he's doing it to try and punch them harder and more often in the head to inflict acute brain damage.

There was no way he was going to fight for a least 3 months after Wlad anyway so it's really a 9 month ban. Ironically he will probably be better off taking an enforced long break after the beating he took.

****ing with your padding and taking roids. Considering Wlad has a glass jaw I venture to say they ought to bring criminal charges to him, not just some worthless ban.

Wach and his team are low-life scum obviously.

 

IMO the penalty is far too light. He should be fined considerably more and banned from fighting in Germany. I'd like to see the WBC also come down with something also.

 

Does anyone know the latest on the glove padding allegations? I've not heard anything since it came out after the fight a while back. Shouldn't be that hard to prove if they did tamper with it.

 

Talk about a fall from grace.

People were over the moon with this guy before the PED & tampering stuff came out. That he took all those flush shots from Wladimir I think impressed people even more than Charr's effort against big brother. (which at the time wasn't given much shine at all)

Fast forward a few months, and The Viking is persona non grata while the Diamond Boy is HW's Obi Wan Kenobi.

 

I distinctly remember some "Wach would easily KO Charr" threads floating around on here. :yep

I'd **** them cheats off the sport for good, or at least for 5 years. Margarito's case showed it's all about the money though. Disgusting, disgusting ****.

Of course, most of the top fighters juice anyway, I'd still **** those caught off.
