dont waste your time my friend.. They all think they know, but they don't. I know he is clean and EVERY test says the same.

All it would take ifs for these doubters to come to camp and see how hard he works and how he eats and takes care of his body, and they would stop with this bull****.

as a matter of fact... wlad and I worked out today.... he has no fight coming up, but this is what he does... HE STAYS IN SHAPE ALL YEAR, WORKS HARD and EATS RIGHT... simple as that

The biggest boost that steroids gives you is extremely fast recovery.

I'm being honest... I think that Vitali should retire. I'm a big fan, and I definitely see a pretty big decline. I don't think that it's his age as much as his injuries over time limiting his movements. It's not that he can't win, it would just suck to see him lose a fight that he woudn't lose otherwise. I think it's time to let Wlad rule over the division for the time that he has left.

So you're saying he only took the steroids to recover from the horrible beating he knew he was going to suffer? Poor guy is nothing but a victim, I blame Dr. Steelhammer for this :yep

No, I'm sure that he took steroids for the same reason that everyone does. Because it gives you the ability to work out longer, train harder, and recover faster... which leads to great gains, added muscle mass, better endurance, and greater condition. Which is why the are called Performance Enhancement Drugs. There is no doubt that they will make you a better athlete, that's why people take them.

Now, they aren't going to give you better technical ability.

He is 6'6 112kgs of pure muscle, and shrinks inbetween fights. I'm not saying he's a blatant cheat, I'm saying the division and boxing at large is filled with people using peformance enhancing drugs.

Come on CHEF, you're a sound, reasonable man. You wouldn't say if Wladimir was using on here, and neither would you probably know since he has his personal doctors supplying him. HGH runs rampant in Germany, and in German boxing, and you know this for a fact brother. :smoke

Wladimir is a beast even with said fact, he trains harder than anyone, and PEDs doesn't grow you the heart and motivation of a champion, that is something that your mental fortitude makes up for, and Wladimir obviously trains hard. But some of these supplements obviously enables these aging fighters to keep training harder and not sustaining any injuries, Wladimir is no exception to the rule.

    Exactly.

PED's basically enable you to recover and not sustaining injuries, and many of our best boxers keep having perfect training camps without injuries, despite their advanced age of 35+.

Now, you rollback the years to 1970 and before, elite level fighters wouldn't last this long without deteriorating, and it has a little more to do with than just nutrition. :deal

Take Vitali for example, he had the typical BURN OUT syndrome going into the Rahman fight, he was sustaining injury after injury, he goes out of boxing for a few years and comes back and hasn't sustained an injury since, and has looked pretty much flawless.

Because they're probably using performance enhancing drugs, we shouldn't really **** on them, it just enables them to do what they love to do.

Even though I suspect both Wlad and Vitali of using performance enhancers, I still love and enjoy their dominance in our sport, two complete, class, elite world level performers.

Hell, if I was boxing myself on that level, I would use supplements that'd enable me to perform for longer than but a few years.
