Seems like Wach is improving. At 6'-7", he's right up there with the big Boys. I wonder just how far he can go? The guy has power in both hands & a pretty good killer instinct. Blew this guy out in 3 rounds.

    From Fightnews:
Undefeated Polish Heavyweight sensation Mariuz Wach (24-0, 12 KOs) successfully captured the vacant WBC Baltic Heavyweight title with a convincing third round knockout of Jonathan Haggler (23-4, 18KOs) at Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey before a crowd of approximately a thousand strong on Saturday night.

Wach of Krakow, Poland seemed relaxed right from the opening bell as he pawed with his jabs in the opening round Jonathan Haggler at six foot four himself, snapped sharp right jabs, while moving to avoid big rights throughout the first round. Haggler scored heavily in the opening round with snapping rights and movement which kept Wach from setting down with a big right hands. Haggler appeared winded as the round came to a close.

The Krakow Poland native stepped up the pace in the second and his jabs increased in power. The ponderous Wach continued to walk down Haggler who did everything to avoid big right hands.

Haggler appeared tired and stayed in punching range too long in the early portion of the third round and it cost him as Wach seized the opportunity, with a huge right on the button. The shot floored Haggler. Wach would not let him off the hook as Haggler desperately tried to retreat, but a blistering four punch combination planted Haggler on the canvas for the final time. Referee Sparkle Lee mercifully counted out Haggler at 1:22 of the third round.

That sounds like a fight that was worth seeing!

Hey! Like I said, he's improving his technique. You can't throw a better right hand than that, pretty much. And the killer instinct is there. He finishes when he has his man hurt.

I'm excited about Wach, now. A few yrs ago when I 1st saw him, I didn't expect much from him. Singing a different song these days!!!

I haven't seen much of him before so i can't tell if he improved much but he looks pretty good. I hope his cooperation with Moorer will be succesful and he'll get a fight with some top 15 contender. I would like to see Wach against Michael Grant in the future.

If Wach fought Grant, that would be a good measuring stick to see where he stands against Adameks skills. What if Wach blasted Grant out in 5 rounds?

We'd all say Wach would give Adamek a hard time...:think

Wach has heavy hands. He should fight another bum and then a top 20 guy. I'd love to see him face Thompson.

Wach looks much improved from where he was before. I'd like to see him stick that jab a little more, he tends to just paw it some times, but in general he looks worlds better than just a few fights before.
