Wach by KO. There won't be no jab jab right for wladimir this time. When Mariusz will land, wlad will be in serious trouble.
You're right it was an abomination and I didn't actually see the fight live, but what's that got to do with this Whack Wlad matchup? the fans are the real losers here just like they were when Haye fought Fraudley.
a great stay busy challenge considering future opposition.... Helenius, Fury, Price, Wilder, Pulev all very tall guys Arreola most likely declined, Mitchell not ready, Solis having management issues Lawrence or Stiverne? Pianeta or Boytsov?........none of these fights would please anyone HAYE?......not saying i wouldn't want to see it, but i dont think this would get made right after him beating Chisora and calling out Vitali........so, could Haye please fight someone in the top 20? Then we talk, his inactivity hurts the division
this fight does fail to overly excite outside of Poland though.....personally, i want a fight in the states so i can see it live without breaking the bank to get to Germany
Pulev is fighting Ustinov in September for the chance to fight Wladimir next. Wlad starting to clean house with the young, undefeated guys, starting now. One more title defense closer to breaking Joe Louis record :deal
Not a lot to get excited about here. Wach is bigger than Wlad so that will be interesting and the undefeated record would look decent on Wlad's resume. But, Wach isn't a top 10(probably somewhere in the 15-20 range) and has only beaten a few journeymen, Gavern is probably his best win which isn't saying a lot. Guys like Povetkin, Arreola, or even Boystov would have been preferable but they don't seem to want to face Wlad. I would rather see Wlad fight in December against Mitchell if he beats Banks or the Pulev-Ustinov winner(preferably Pulev) since those two fights are happening in September. Its good to see Wlad fight three times this year but its been a pretty disappointing year. Mormeck was a pointless fight, Thompson was ok but he already beat him once before, and Wach(if it happens) isn't a top 10 heavyweight.Barring something unforseen Wlad's 2013 has to be better than his 2012.
Wach is terrible. He's slow, cumbersome, has terrible footwork and is uncoordinated. Easy, easy win for Wlad.
About time someone took the fight. Can't remember the last time contenders simply wouldn't take the title shot like what's happened with Wlad.
Wach has been improving each fight...he's in my Top 10. You know, people complain about Wlad fighting guys who are "too small", and now Wach is the 2nd big opponent in a row . . . hey, what can you do? Haters will always hate. For the record, I wanted to see Wlad-Arreola in NY, but Arreola was too much of a ***** to accept the fight.
