I see. So you're saying he has a chin after all. Anyways, let's focus on this match. I do think it would have served Wach better if he'd take on one or two more better known taller fighters. This was their original plan, but Grant called it off and no one (except Liakhovich) wanted to fight him. At the same time that Liak called Wach out, Mr Wladimir came calling so which fight would a sane fighter accept? IMO guys like Arreola and Povetkin are letting a golden opportunity slip out of their hands at the expense of puffing up their records and keeping meaningless trinkets. Even if they are bound to lose, as long as they can show something, their popularity and name recognition would increase.
Arreola is waiting for old man Vitali to retire, so he can fight for the vacant WBC belt wow, I'm surprised Wach accepted this fight... I was hoping he would face at least Austin in September as a stay busy fight, plus, as a free defense for Wlad, Wach isn't going to make much for Christmas, but ok, this is the chance of a lifetime for him I'm not hyping Mariusz, he can take a decent punch, he won't get pushed around the ring by Wlad, but I doubt he can win this, his punch output isn't great, against Fields he only turned up the heat in the last 30-40 seconds of each round, against Wlad that will not be enough to win on a side note, do ignore the **** "King Arthur", who only comes on to this forum to abuse Poland, trying to make friends with the ******s who do the same, because his social life is a complete failure and that way he feels accepted by the ****s who share a hatred of Poles with him
What Arreola doesn't seem to get is that while he's waiting for Vitali to retire he's not getting any younger himself and once a little bit of his speed and power are gone, he'll be toast against decent younger guys because there's nothing else Arreola can offer. Same goes for Povetkin to a lesser extent because at least he has good technique and ring IQ he can lean on. But you gotta take a shot at a championship fight when you're in your prime. I'm sure Wach could use more experience fighting tougher comp, but I'm also sure that now at 31 he's as good as he'll ever get so why not?
Adamek already beat a MUCH better version of Chisora in Arreola. Del Boy fights like a power puncher minus the actual power. Cake walk for Adamek.
Yeaaa outside of a punchers chance, Wach doesn't have much chance. Sad to say. Although that does not rob me of the hope that Wach will connect and get the KO. It won't hurt Wach at all taking this fight. Even if he loses, he will take the money, he lost to a Klitschko, just like everyone else, continues fighting until getting another title shot after a couple of fights. No shame losing to a Klitschko.
Only slightly better than Mormeck and Charr.....what a pathetic run as of late for the Klits. At least Wach has a punchers chance i guess....
