Did it after the weigh-in because I wanted to see their weights. The so-called brouhaha had no impact on me. Did it because I expect Hughie to win justifiably or controversially. IMO there's a lot going against Joe: [1] Kevin Barry is not up to the task (and never will be); [2] Duco has been played for the fool from Day 1 flawlessly by the Furys, who now have the upper hand on all the intangibles; and [3] ref and judges. That said, if I'm wrong, I'll have a big smile on my face...coz a few things really are better than a modest wad of quid!
Im struggling with this one, its mostly a case of im not sure just how good Fury is. I think ive seen what Parker has and i dont think he is guna get much better than he is now. I dont know if Fury is better than anything Parker has faced or not, But my gut is not and it is also saying Parker wins this in a slow unentertaining encounter and im hoping there is no controversy on the cards. God i hate Byrd.
A reasonable analysis but the I believe that a somewhat busy Parker is early in his ascension toward a great heavyweight career and ahead of of an inactive Fury.
Hughie weighed less than Parker. He's on the backfoot all night I'm telling you, you're going to be shocked how easily he handles Parker, and even his power when he does connect.
Looked like Hughie is already expending a lot of nervous energy at the weigh in. Huge step up fight and he may struggle to cope with the excitement of the event.
i'm sure all Fury has to do to win is see the final bell. be 120-108, no matter what. hyperbole of course, but the fix will definitely be in.
